So we all agree that Philip Seymour Hoffman was the best actor of the 21st century?

Don't know about that, but I'll watch pretty much anything with him in it.

He needs to be in more movies before I can make that decision. I'd like to see him do some comedy roles in the future

DDL?

This. I would be excited when I saw he was going to be in a new movie.

Uhh.....

He is a fat annoying faggot. Everything he has been in would be played better by literally anyone else.

user...

no that would be the Joaquin "Jokester" Phoenix

not really

he starred in some fantastic movies with very talented directors, and his acting was all around decent to great

But best actor? No.

Best Heroin addict, maybe, but not best actor.

I'm still sad he died

Yikes. I've only seen this guy slurr through marvel films and he's awful.

Um, no. I think that honor goes to, uh, pic related?

>played a side/minor character in a majority of his movies
>only starred in a handful of them
>of that handful, only a couple are actually good and not pretentious trash
Not even close.

Watched the film Happiness yesterday for the first time- he was fucking awesome in it.

Say what you want about Kevin James, but he can play the "Adam Sandlers fat divorced friend on Holiday" and the "Mall cop" roles better than just about anyone on the planet.

I mean he's my personal favorite tbqh.

Great in Mary and Max, Happiness, Boogie Nights, Synecdoche New York, and Punch Drunk Love

Love Liza was his best performance

Punch Drunk Love as well.

He's great in the Master, but not even better than Phoenix in it.
