Today was the first time I've seen it and it was kino. Is there a remastered version of the 5-hour cut? What are other polish kinos?

Hmmm...I'm pretty sure Ogniem i Mieczem was good. Krzyzacy I enjoyed. Battle of Warsaw: 1920 was essential commiesbtfokino

"Dzien Swira", I think if it would be in English it would be classic here. If you will decide to watch it I can give you fixed subs because the only ones available are shit

It's called The Deluge ("Potop" in polish), I would give it an easy 8/10 on the kino scale. I really like redemption stories, and the historical backgroud and battle scenes are really nice. It also has probably the best/most realistic saber duel in cinema history.
I don't overuse the word kino like some retards on this board, I definitely wouldn't call capeshit or nuwars "kino" etc. But stuff like old polish and soviet movies are pretty often kino
saberkino
Maybe not quite the same but watched Quo Vadis (Henryk Sienkiewicz) on the weekend. Holds up pretty well for a 951 film. Only question I have is, was Nero really that austistic IRL, or did they intentionally portray him like an imbecile in the film.
>The Promised Land that low
Discarded, it's easily top 3 polish kino, if not the best one, and everyone here knows it. It didn't win an oscar in '75 only because americucks claimed it was "antisemitic".
>951 film
W-whoa...
>bogus slav(e)

oh fug
Please call me kino
>tfw you see Poles and Swedes fighting and you can't remember on which side you are
K-kino
>Ogniem i Mieczem
LEL this movie is low budget foreign cheese to the max. Fortunately it's Polish cheese so it has good flavor. I do recommend but don't expect it to hold up to anything Western.
>What are other polish kinos?
Szulkin and Zulawski are fucking kino
bump
