Doom is just Doom, no college origin story needed, he went the long way. Baxter Buildings been abandoned for decades etc. Everything looks as pulp 60s sci fi as possible. Lots of chrome and kirby.

I could see him playing an older Dr. Doom, I think it would have to be one of those time warp things though where the first part of the movie is victor as a kid, prying himself free from his fathers cold, frozen arms, taking over latveria, fighting for his mothers soul etc.

For Doom i honestly think they should just do the Darth Vader thing, have a physically imposing actor play him in the suit, and have another actor, preferably older with a cool voice, (see ) to voice him.
Taron Edgerton would make for a decent Johnny, i think, but he's starting to get up there in terms of age, ideally, Johnny should be played by someone in their early twenties.
Chiklis really was great casting for the Thing, it's a shame the movies never really took advantage of that, but bringing him back would be just weird. Willis would 100% be in autopilot for the whole thing if he was cast, so that's a no. I really don't know about this one, maybe another wrestler like Bautista?
