In terms of nation leading Aladdin's Jafar character was pretty based for the most part. In reality the Sultan's nation wouldn't last very long in a competitive region.
Based Jafar from the Aladdin Movie (2019)

Is the movie Guy Ritchie tier? like is it generic disney rehash shit? or is it Guy Ritchie genius? or somewhere in between? like a G rated King Arthur maybe?
I will tell you this
There are some VERY cringy moments in the film, but there are also great ones.
It wasn't loaded with feminist garbage.
The visuals are great.
Will Smith was actually great as the Genie
The villain actor could have been better
It's the the worst Disney live-action remake so far, even Burton's Johnny Depp in Wonderland films are better.
To be fair the cringy moments were supposed to be cringy by design
BUT WHAT ABOUT DUMBO
Are there any flashy quick cuts of Aladdin planning to steal fruit from a vendor or something, with them figuiring out flaws in the plan as they discuss?
Stealing scenes are done so you don't see the hand go into the pockets, the pockets are off-screen
Fucking Disney.
If Guy Ritchie got free roam to make an R rated Aladdin I swear to god it would be 10/10.
It was bad but this one is worse. Cast is awful, they butcher the music and add a terrible, cringe-inducing song about how Jasmine is oppressed by evil sexism, and the whole affair feels soulless and offputting. They try to make it more grounded than the original but only succeed in the exact opposite, it's like Aladdin fanfiction.
>cringe-inducing song about how Jasmine is oppressed by evil sexism
Yes there is that...
Also Jasmine would have driven the nation into the dirt as well
in the animated movie it was also like that.
jaffar was also an ugly creepy motherfucker and not a cute muslim fuckboy.
but whatever.
Jasmine actress looked cute though
Its not as good as the cartoon obviously but I thought it was better than the other live action disney remakes
This movie is still in theatres? Or already in theatres I don't know? Does this movie exist?
Jaffar isn't supposed to be some fucking brown hunk for fuck's sake. God fucking DAMNIT.
How does one not consider pic related to be the old pervy sorcerer lusting for more power?
Abysmal casting choice.
OK here's real life Jasmine (Naomi Scott)
what a wasted opportunity for bleaching and having a not nigger looking son...
>>It wasn't loaded with feminist garbage.
>Jafar says "Women should be seen not heard."
Yasmine becomes the Sultan in a very patriarchal society and nobody has a problem with it.
Just as I came out of the theatre today I saw a nigger, arms crossed, mad as hell, waiting with a broom for everyone to leave.
They're a rarity in Estonia so they usually get weird looks.
Her looks could have gotten someone way better, even if she's Indian.
to be honest if she has a husband she could reing in the shadows and have al as a puppet king.
nobody would be mad.
no it wouldnt it would be shit ritchie is old and done
wtf trevor is in alladin?
There have been female Sultanas before in history, sauce en.wikipedia.org
>Yasmine becomes the Sultan in a very patriarchal society and nobody has a problem with it.
I'll count that as just the character's ignorance. The common people didn't know it before the movie ended and regardless it wouldn't have been wise to insult the Sultana, even if she would drive everything to the ground.
Out of all the characters there, the ones who would have done an alright job as Sultan would have been Jafar, Hakim or most likely the Genie, since he knows people's psychology inside and out, and has seen empires rise and fall withing his 10,000 year existence.

>Ottoman period where sultan's spouses and mothers ruled from the shadows.
Surprised you didn't go for Malikah Arwa who actually ruled in Arabia, but the thing with her is that she only ruled after her husband the Malik died.
