I kinda like Anderson. He has a unique style and a unique way to frame action sequences and knows how to make the most of a small budget. Event Horizon and Mortal Kombat prove that he is able to get something good going when he wants to. It's a shame he resigned himself to shitty video game movies starring his wife. He's the Ridley Scott of Uwe Bolls.

The music, the fight, the fact that you can tell he and Liu Kang's actor were going like 1% shy of full steam at each other and the fact that he was a fight in the movie at all were absolutely perfect.
