The dirty truth about zombie films is it's a one trick pony genre. some mess with the formula but it's mostly a garbage bag sub class of horror for hacks. Ever Romero was massively overrated and was outclasses by remakes and return of the living dead.
Now it's just survival Bros with paint ball cosplays, or the soap opera trash of the walking dead.
Snyder's Dawn if the dead was pretty much the zenith of the revival. But the walking dead made it total garbage for plebs
