My life has been intensely cringe.

Like any series that runs that long, they keep getting orders for new seasons, it's going to get stale and over the top.

I used to be amazed at how little the quality of South Park dipped over the years. Then it nosedived so hard around Season 19 it was almost like a different show.

Now that Trey broke up with his gf maybe he'll get angsty enough to make things interesting, great art always comes from suffering. If the next season isn't good I'm dropping it once and for all.

The show went downhill as soon as Imaginationland came out

youtube.com/watch?v=88LBkZwvXQ0

this bit popped into my head after not seeing it for years and it's still funny as fuck

The only cringe part in my life is when I went through my emo phase. Other then that growing a mustache at the peak of the vagabond phase.

Attached: 1556479316665.jpg (600x800, 75K)

The show jumping the shark was Cartman becoming Jewish. At least that's when I stopped watching it.

That was the best season hands down. Feminist Cartman was great.

It started going downhill in season 12 and it's just unwatchable at this point

>they make a hoarders episode
>its less disgusting/insane than an actual episode of hoarders

you can't make fun of what is too insane to mock

well at this point Season 23 is the last season. They have not renewed for any more yet, this is the longest gap between renewal announcements the show has ever seen.

>Now that Trey broke up with his gf
The one with the niglet?

yeah they filed for divorce last year

Who could have predicted this

Coming off of his marriage to the Japanese women, everyone.

And to clarify: HE divorced HER

Based

I'm really hoping it means that he wants to renew for more seasons, more video games or films. I think Trey works at his best after a sudden change in his lifestyle

the issue is comedy in general is dead, because you can't make fun of an unironic clown world.

PC Principle is great

Seasons 1-2 = decent
Seasons 3-11 = golden age
Seasons 11-14 = decrease in quality but still consistently enjoyable
Seasons 15 - 18 = noticeable dive in quality, few good eps
Seasons 19 - present = collapse

Have sex

Attached: image.png (489x771, 115K)

Kill yourself then I’ll fuck the corpse that counts as sex right?

Chef's death was a turning point for me, though there are still good episodes after that

I can still point out at least one moment that makes me laugh out loud and one moment that resonates well with me on a story-telling level in each and every single episode of this tv show.

You post a awesome character and expect people to sympathize with you? Try again, but try to be less retarded.

this
season 3 can't be topped and will never be

agree

PC principal is a pretty clear statement of the problem with modern south park. as the character is supposed to be a satire, but actually comes off as less insane and ridiculous than the people it's trying to mock.

Imagine being this stupid holy shit

fpbp

Season 15 mid-season finale "You're Getting Old" is the series finale in my head canon.

I laughed out loud during the entire silent ending credits of the dead killer whale on the moon

Hire us Trey/Matt
We'll fix your show

True. I remember the feels when I saw it. Thought the series was over, and now I know it should have been

Took him long enough.

Black Friday Trilogy more like. There's plenty of gems in the 2008-12 seasons.

>Cartman becoming Jewish
I've seen every episode and have no idea wtf you're talking about

I hope to fuck they don't make season 23 into a bunch of political garbage now that its election season in America again.

I'd say Season 18 was the beginning of the collapse, but this is right on the money otherwise.

It's the last season anyways. They'll end it with a bang. What you should be worried about is Comedy Central being a completely unwatchable channel otherwise afterwards.

havent watched south park since the season with the wow episode really, and even before with no real devotion. it seems another antiquated zombie like the simpsons or any other program the network demands

this

once they actually started to do SERIOUS multi part storylines it all went to shit

At least they're gonna end South Park under the notion it's not been funny for 5 years in contrast to the Simpsons not being funny for more than 20.

>he thinks i give a shit about comedy central

Attached: 1310483412100.jpg (413x395, 19K)

>it's been shit for over 10 years now
god damn

What makes you think it's ending?

No renewal, in the last year of contract with Comedy Central, Trey and Matt are definitely out of ideas, probably don't want the show to be a mere satire of current events anymore, hinted it'd be cancelled last year, a lot of dots to connect here. That said, a last season might actually make the show watchable again.

I won't believe its over until the season's done and they haven't renewed.

They'll most likely indicate this beforehand. I expect something to come this summer. I actually want it to end, they don't need to jump the shark as much as they have been since 2014.

If they'd fuck off with Randy and the constant Colbert-tier political commentary, then it could very easily be a good show again. I don't see any reason for it to end even if it continues to be shit. It's not like it makes the old episodes worse, and it means that maybe once in a while we might actually get a good episode. Who knows, maybe they'll figure out how to do it right again soon.

i hope they pull the plug on it soon because it's entering simpsons level of garbage

Maybe the breaking youre my balls skit?

Thia captures that edgy pol 14 feel so good. They have absolutely infested pol with retardation.

They are fully under the control of Mossad and agent provocateurs.

Attached: 15265859079916.jpg (534x400, 58K)

What was PC Principal's tax policy?

Attached: 1559030069108.jpg (1800x2400, 1.28M)

Sam Hyde very possibly made this meme himself in an attempt to gain an inch of relevancy

Completely agreed. Forcing Randy as the focus into every episode has become way too tiresome. When it was focused on the kids that's what was what kept it South Park. They'll always make fun of politics though.

Jewpacabra. He does it at the end.

Its fucking irritating. He's either the focus of the A-Plot or the B-Plot. He's NEVER not the focus of at least one half of an episode. It's ridiculous.

Family Guy has always been the better show
Based Seth dabbing on South Park.

Attached: disgusted_picard.jpg (250x250, 5K)

I'll admit this boomer not understanding the younger generations shit was funny before You're Getting Old, but they don't have to make it a running gag or recurring theme. They happened to make Randy even more of a fucking cancer after that. Meanwhile they just conveniently forget Jimbo and Ned who I always found to be perfect parts of the show's caricatures of right libertarian types one could identify with.

You forgot that they stopped giving a shit about providing a balanced perspective on issues or even trying to portray people on the "wrong side of history" with any kind of humanizing qualities what-so-ever.

It's the Late Show with Matt and Trey (and Randy), not South Park. If I wanted that type of shitty liberal propaganda disguised as comedy, I would watch Colbert.

Attached: SCOOPED.png (311x340, 170K)

Honestly I thought the show started going downhill when they switched to making it with computers.
There's nothing wrong with using computers, but to me the biggest appeal and source of humor was the contrast between how simple and constrained the show looked, and how crude the subject matter was. Most of the jokes were sharp and deadpan, there wasn't much music, and whenever they parodied movie tropes it would obviously look much sillier.
Now I don't even know why they stick to the same art style anymore. It only becomes relevant when once in a blue moon they come up with a way to work it into a joke. Mocking movie tropes by recreating them in such a simplistic and crappy art style that they completely lose all pathos and tension was funny, but the production quality has increased to a point where it only becomes a joke when they make the situation obviously silly.

I think that the Shakeweight episode was the last one I watched, at least that was the end of me watching the show with any sort of regularity.

They've been using computers for literally every episode except the pilot.

But I do agree with you. They've lost the simplicity that helped give the show its charm. What's fucking hilarious is that in the Free Hat episode, they had a small skit advertising a "remastered' version of the pilot episode, where they say something along the lines of "all the charm of this simple cartoon is gone and replaced with high definition CGI" or something like that.

Which is exactly what happened, only it took about 15 years.

It's called being out of touch
South Park was always aimed at teens and young adults
Except now M&T are almost 50

Season 10 was god awful
I remember hating it when it came out, I went back and re-watched it last year and I was right. It was awful

Then I guess it's when their budget increased or whatever, I'm stupid.
I thought they only started using computers (or at least, ONLY using computer animation) when they "overhauled" the opening.

1 and 2 were ok for their time, in a "I can't believe little kids are saying this in a cartoon" sense, but I find them borderline unwatchable now. It definitely didn't really find its real footing as a show until S3.

Would have been kind of a downer note to end things on.

They've been using Maya since Season 5, and before that they used PowerAnimator.

They're fully capable of capturing the original style using solely computer animation, as they did for several years. But I guess the animators want to show off their 'skills.'

most of the people who grew up watching south park are boomers now. the show isn't what kids watch these days they all watch?? i dunno what they watch to be honest youtube shit and streamed tv

Yeah very yikes

You don't have a 18yo pussy, stop talking as if we'd give a shit about something being cringe to you

That is one of those few episodes of this show that I have never watched in its entirety. I've seen a few minutes of it, and it was bad, and everyone always says it is bad, so I've never actually seen the entire thing. I think the only other episodes that I've never watched are the Queef one and Funnybot.

When cartman was constantly annoyed of his loving girlfriend, but wouldn't break up with her because he is a pathetic and insecure piece of shit, hit tto close to home.

Agreed, so much great fapbait if your are into monster girls

I'm literally cartman with the girl and I married her and have kids with her.

I'm not going to lie, it's not that bad.

Post pics of your kids

Season 1-6: great TV for the time
Seasons 7-9: spotty
Seasons 10-whatever they're at now: unwatchable

i ship kyle with myself

same. no kids yet tho. and she's got money.

plenty of BBC sex int he first seasons, that's what I like.

Really hate what they did to Heidi too, and to an extent, making Kyle his own mother in that season.

They used to be influenced by monty python in animation style and humor. Somewhere along the line the animators either changed or forgot the crudeness made it funny.

You have become what we all seeked to deytroy, you male thot.
Jealous though

could they just ditch all the ancillary shit, go back to the original animation and bring back the older silly plots.

Climbed a mountain and I turned around

yuh. the rest is just because the money was impossible to turn down.

haven't watched the show in years, used to look forward to it, last episode i've watched was Member Berries, back in 2016, has it been any good since?

did anyone watch last season of family guy? i know its been dead for a while but the last season was so strangely shit, i can't even put it into words.

can america no longer into media?

This but unironically. It's not even like I got "too old" for it too. I was around 14-15 when it came out, and even teenager me knew Southpark was going to shit.

If my immature teenaged ass who'd watch anything cartoon related thought your animated cartoon show was shit, then you must've truly been shit.

Same for the WoW episode. It just didn't feel like "classic" Southpark. I fucking LOVED the Great Expectations episode even though everyone fucking shat all over it, because I thought it was classically Southpark and really captured the charm and spirit of what the series was.

come on, he has a point. do you honestly think pic related could be make today.

What the fuck are you even trying to convey here?

Sam Hyde looks like a rotten peach now what happened.

>few years
The last good episode was in 2010, and that's questionable.
It's nearly a whole decade of shit.

yes. and it'd make bank. and pussies would cry about it, and retards would mock those pussies, and the other 75% of the country would think its funny.

south park's opinions have never been right from hating family guy and making zoomers think micheal jackson is a pedo

mean while southpark is made by a jew and a legit cuckold as if anything they say has any merit

Okay maybe not could, but would it be made.

THis

You just summed up why South Park isnt good anymore. We live in clown world.

its already been made tho

>one plot thread of the season during the stupidest presidential election on record is THE ENTIRE SEASON
Most of 20 wasn't even about Tru- I mean, """Mr. Garrison""". And then they go out of their way to avoid episodes involving him in 21 when he's actually president instead of writing the whole season around it like you seem to think. Thanks for proving my point sweaty ;^*

>doing it again
Please stop, user.

rainforest schmainforest is best episode.

The Jennifer Aniston episode? It's one of the better earlier episodes

People like that are just trolls. Ignore them, like the 'have sex' retards.
The few that aren't trolls are still idiots. They complain about people who don't like something's politics...by mocking politics.

thats the point. its real as fuck but still has funny bits like trad south park

Randy is absolute cancer. I get it, Matt and Trey are old now and can't relate to the kids anymore. They really wish Randy was the main character instead so they could turn him into a skinny Peter Griffin, up to his random "wacky" hijinks every episode. Who cares about character motivations or logic? Randy can do anything, because he's so wacky! Fuck off. It's almost as bad as the political shit. We get it, you got buttmad about Trump. No need to make two entire seasons whining about it.

Attached: south park cast.jpg (740x540, 72K)

Hey fuck you buddy, Miss Teacher Bangs a Boy is a great episode

They certainly didn't go out of their way to avoid him in season 21. I think you mean 22, which while significantly better than 19, 20, and 21 is still a pile of shit compared to every season before 18. The last two episodes of Season 21 are about him, and he also appears in one of the earlier episodes (though they don't really bash him in that episode). So that's 2/10 episodes in Season 21 that are Drumpfbashing. Better than 20, but still not good.

As for Season 20, I don't give a shit if you think it was the "stupidest presidential election on record," fact of the matter is they still spent a good portion of Season 20 trying to do their best Colbert impression, and it was boring, unoriginal, and just not at all funny. And they dragged it out over a whole season.

>season long plotlines

Why don't Trey Parker and Matt Stone branch out the same way that Seth did? Hit or miss, he still made several different TV shows and movies while they haven't done any fresh stuff since getting Book of Mormon off the ground. It feels like a good move to combat whatever complacency they're feeling at the moment and could help get their edge back

This is what killed the show.

yeah fuck this this is honestly what murdered this show

a randy episode used to be the greatest fucking thing, now a randy episode makes me want to bash my fucking skull in

Good thing every episode is a Randy episode!

It's not like the concept itself is bad. They set up some interesting plots, but they absolutely failed to deliver on it in any way. Remember the time Kyle nuked Canada? Surely such a grand action will have consequences for his character and the plo- oh it's ignored. Thanks, Trey.

>that weird feeling when a show has more bad episodes than good ones

Probably because he used to have a real personality. What the hell even is Randy now? He's not a character, he's a deus ex machina.

You're on to it.

Put yourselves in their shoes, if possible for just a little. South Park begun when they were a couple of hungry for money, nothing to lose, early 20's edgelords during the 90s. Very likely 90% of the stories for the episodes came from their own memories of what they did as kids, how school was, the wacky teachers and their weird friends/classmates.

Not only is that well bound to dry out at some point, but it's been 20 years since they've moved out of Colorado and went to live in LA, a luxorious life, very close to what they used to joke about on early South Park. Both of them are near 50 now, their edginess and desire to rip on douchy celebrities has ran out, probably because they've somewhat become douchy celebrities themselves, filthy rich too. Your stand on creativity must absolutely differ after having your bank account get fat and have a room in your massive house solely for awards, while living in LA.

What initially motivated and made South Park stand out was edgy comedy, has now turned to what is commonly called social commentary, with comedy coming second.

Attached: ColorfulDeliciousKarakul-poster.jpg (430x309, 21K)

I don't watch this fucking show for epic multi-season plot arcs.

>anime

old south park would offend people

now it tries to do colbert tier (read: bad) political humor.

Dude its a fucking cartoon they ignore reality.

>dude it's just a movie lmao. Why do you care about characters and plot? Just turn your brain off!

You must be retarded if you thought nuking canada should envoke consequences but you arent bothered by cartman getting away with feeding scott his parents

Or kenny and tweek as desperate drug addicts for whom the only positive force in their lives is each other
You could even do a romeo and juliet thing where kenny intentionally dies for some reason, and tweek, not knowing about his ability to resurrect, kills himself, only for a reincarnated kenny to discover the body. Kenny, however, can't take the easy way out, and has to live with the death of his lover for the rest of eternity...

>they still spent a good portion of Season 20 trying to do their best Colbert impression, and it was boring, unoriginal, and just not at all funny. And they dragged it out over a whole season
It's almost like you didn't actually watch it and/or are entirely incapable of finding humor in anything that's not vigorously fellating your favorite white (house) supremacist.

I think I know why Kenny is the unironic Chad of the cast. His father clearly isn't the type to be a cuck. Perhaps pre-gay Craig as well and maybe, maybe even Butters.

>valid criticism

>respond with "making fun of drumpf is fine!"

idiot.

the show went from stuff like a magic poo to crappy political commentary. it's shit. EVERYONE ELSE DOES THE SAME THING.

Kenny dies every episode. Not very realistic.

That's the other thing they really really did not need to do. What the fuck happened to flip everyone off Craig?

>d-drumpf is a white supremacist!

Ah, there it is.

You mean the last decade, zoomer?

You forgot the time Kenny's dad got fucked by NAMBLAA

Valid requires it to be true. Painting Garrison orange and having him say Trumpian bullshit for one whole season is not even on the same level as the late night talking heads you clearly also hatewatch for some reason. And since it was Garrison doing it, and not actually your precious mentally defective geriatric chief executive, it was actually funny instead of depressingly mind numbing. There's lots of things to critique in the last few seasons compared to old South Park, being mean to pop culture figures is hardly noteworthy.

play the 2nd game. he still flips people off while being gay with tweek. it's cute af desu

He wasn't aware they were in that door. Still though, Kenny seems to be the only kid that's truly well-adjusted.

I do not care if you like/dislike Trump.

The problem is EVERY FUCKING MEDIA SOURCE does the "Trump bad" schtick. Every single one. Now if South Park goes from original content to derivative shit, is that good or bad?

If they sucked off Trump it would still be bad.

its not about them "being mean" to Trump

its about them spending a season and a half beating the same dead horse until any possibility of it being funny is pulverized

of course, you appear to be the type who enjoys seeing the same boring, unoriginal joke repeated again and again and again if it tickles your partisan funny bone

“Fuck them all to death” was a hilarious plotline

>well-adjusted
>huffs cat piss
>auto-erotically asphyxiated himself to death while dressed as batman
>has killed himself before, in front of his friends
>would literally do anything for money including eating dog shit and his own puke
>well-adjusted

i'm not sure you're aware of what 'well-adjusted' means

And yet he doesn't have a single care in the world beside that.

Imaginationland was great but some of the jokes were overplayed. The "imagination is running wild" joke was only funny the first 2 episodes at best.

that's actually a valid point

Attached: maxresdefault.jpg (1280x720, 131K)

well thats just depressing

he cant die so none of his actions have consequences, so he can truly do whatever he wants.
besides it's a cartoon and a toon character huffing cat piss or choking himself gives him no harm anyway.

you're not wrong

the point is he is definitely not "well-adjusted." besides cartman he's the least well-adjusted of the 4 boys if you go by literally any definition of well-adjusted

Literally just a few dumb jokes and you get this upset. Must be exhausting.

i can and it was topped by all seasons following until at least season 10. Even Tray and Matt said that they got the show writing right at least in the middle of season 3. I'm not saying it's bad. I'm just saying it's not that great.

South Park is not supposed to be animated Colbert. As I said, even if it had a hardon for Trump it's still bad. I'm tired of politics infused into EVERYTHING.

It's not even close to being "animated Colbert". I remember 300++ reply threads after south park had made 2 Trump jokes in an episode.

Unlike nu-Simpsons nu-Park is still fairly consistently funny.

high-quality post

They've always made fun of every fucking thing. Just think of literally anything I bet there's an episode of South Park covering it.

"Honestly I thought the show started going downhill when they switched to making it with computers."

So from 2nd episode? ex dee

As has been said earlier in the thread the show went to absolute shit once they introduced season-long plotlines/story arcs. It REALLY went to shit when one of those seasons literally revolved around Donald Trump. Literally every single episode in the season.

I think every show starst with certain audience and the show grows the same way as the audience. So in the beginning it was for teenagers like me, and now it's more for the 30+ generation (i'm 34). I can cleary see the difference betweed very silly early season which are funny but not really going that deep and the newer episodes which are more realistic and sarcastic. The humour is not so obvious as it used to be. Definitely for edge lords or gen Z in general.

*definitely NOT for the edge lords...Sorry for my shit tier english...

*definitely NOT for the edge lords... sry for my engrish

That edge could cut. Be careful.

I watch these two often. Whenever I'm sick of life.

So there was a whole season just about Trump?

This and raisins

Attached: 1557432755933.gif (500x565, 92K)

>election season
The fucked up part is it is election season and it's the first part of the previous year. I don't know if I can take a 2 year election season. If this becomes the norm then it will literally always be election season. Looks like it's suicide again for me.

the entirety of season 20 was 99% trump 1% lame subplots

>making zoomers think micheal jackson is a pedo
are you retarded? the episode suggested that Jackson is actually a manchild the whole thing was an attempt to extort money from him

I think Nightmare in FaceTime was the last episode I genuinely enjoyed. Whatever happened to the boys just being kids and having whacky adventures?

>again

Attached: 1556984120621.jpg (500x500, 18K)

No.

Bush Jr. got bashed mercilessly during his early presidency from what I recall. Remember That’s My Bush?

So, you like episode 1 and that's it?

Their success with The Book of Mormon was where you can pin-point when South Park was declining because they gave zero fucks.

people actually still watch this and the Simpsons?

Attached: image.jpg (540x808, 95K)

Yeah i think the city of fallen angels finally got the best of them.

So Broadway Bro Down and onwards

A million little fibers and Jakovasaurs are the only literally unwatchable episodes.

Nice

It has die-hard fans as well as new viewers that allow the networks to continue churning it out.

I stopped watching Simpsons and South Park sometime in 2011 when I graduated college. Amazed that it still runs.

m.youtube.com/watch?v=jqqa9JhC10I

Do you think anyone is old enough to remember Bush? Hell, even Clinton was the joke of every late night show.

seconding this. Peak south Park was around season 5-7

Pretty much but there were still some watchable episodes in Season 15 like Last of the Meehecans.

This is surprisingly frightening. A whole generation of teens have no fucking clue who Bush Jr. was like and the years of his presidency. And yeah I remember when Clinton got bashed on SNL too.

Remember Elementary School Musical? That was 11 years ago and poking fun at the teen musical craze at the time. Nowadays kids would mock the shit out of that. Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens don’t even appear as a blip on today’s kids’ pop culture radar.

It’s funny how one of them married a Jap woman, they get divorced and then turns around and married an ex-stripper with a kid...and then gets divorced.

Actually, I'd say it's the other way around, it's more unfunny than nu-Simpsons, BUT it's much higher quality in the writing.
I was actually quite impressed by the writing in the serialized season (19? I think), the thing was it just largely lacked humor, it just had occasional funny situations. I know that Trey Parker isn't a big fan of le random gag XD humor, so he tries to go for more story-based humor, but that's what's now backfiring a bit, as it's tough to make up good stories that are also consistently funny.

They only did ONE season long story arc you fag, and it wasn't about Trump, although the Trump thing was a major subplot. That part was admittedly not too funny, but South Park has always made fun of politics, getting so assblasted because they're making fun of le god emperor is dumb.
I would remind you that Trey Parker made a whole SITCOM about George Bush.

My question is, in these recent seasons, are they embracing social justice & PC culture or making fun of it? I genuinely cannot tell.

Surprised they haven’t done anything with Trump yet. Though to be fair, Trump never led us to war on flimsy grounds in Iraq.

This. It's just Obongo that suddenly got a free pass.

It seems like both

Why would they, they've gotten their fill of Trump jokes on SP. Also maybe they realize it's just low-hanging fruit.
>Trump never led us to war on flimsy grounds in Iraq.
Iran, Iraq, what's the difference.

I think they genuinely mock SJWs. They made fun of trannies way back when Gerold became a dolphin hybrid.

However they’re so up Hollywood’s ass that they prefer not to kiss off their professional connections. So PC Principal is their way of mocking SJWisms under the guise of SP comedy.

They've usually made fun of both sides (although they're clearly tending more to the liberal side nowadays, prolly all those years in Hollywood). Hell 'Butt Out' made fun of anti-smoking groups and portrayed the tobacco industry in a very favourable light.

They've made fun of PC culture a lot, but they also make fun of DEY TOOK UR JERBS rednecks.

It was a different time.

Here's Bush making fun of himself. Imagine that.

>However they’re so up Hollywood’s ass that they prefer not to kiss off their professional connections
unironically this. Back in the day I remember when they said they had burned all the bridges in Hollywood and that's why they weren't getting celebrity cameos anymore. It seems like someone cut them a break to get Book of Mormon going so now they're trying to be better behaved.
>And I base that on absolutely nothing.

It really was. I actually miss the 2000’s a lot seeing how the 2010’s turned out. 2000 to 2004 was comfy as fuck despite war in Iraq and Afghanistan for those of us in high school.

classic

south park is still enjoyable for Centrists

sorry libtards and nazis, this show is aimed at me now

Having yellow fever is cringe af too along with cosplay.

At this point, Trump just being himself and cracking jokes is just objectively funnier than anything that South Park does on him.

Nah you're worthless life is cringe they're exposing your types

reminder that cartman's mom is an ex gf of one of the two creator who cheated on him, so they made her a slut

prof chaos eps were the real first chinks in the armor. then the LOTR episode. everything after that has bern a slow but steady decline, good times w/ weapons did a lot of damage as well. seasons 1–4 are untouchable

I miss this South Park.

Would Philp from the move have made a good character in the show?

Attached: giphy (1).gif (480x270, 1.56M)

wtf all of these episodes were good, what's wrong with them?

>Zac Effron
I gotta admit the musical shit phase was pretty awful overall but he's on his way to redemption after playing Ted Bundy

Amen
The 8 season was the best

It makes me wonder. If you took a teenager from 2009 to 2019, would there be that much of a culture shock? Tech-wise, a 2009 teen wouldn’t be as lost as a 1999 teen in 2009. But the SJWisms and other aspects of the 2010’s would be a bit of a shock.

Hang yourself, pleb

>If you took a teenager from 2009 to 2019, would there be that much of a culture shock?
That's pretty much my life, dude, and I am pretty shocked, confused and depressed. How do I go back?

Try not being a “teen” and grow up

It was.
If only they'd had the balls to make fun of Hillary as well. Chickenshit fags pussied out on mocking her ridiculous campaign.

That episode where some plastic surgeons turn Kyle black and turn his dad into a dolphin is prophetic in hindsight.

Dude vagabond phase is so much fun I love just letting everythk grow out like a bum. Having a clean face definitely looks better though.

appeasing tumblr pedos like you was a huge mistake for them

they should be ashamed of themselves and so should you

A lot of the show was ahead of it's time, even the S19 PC stuff didn't make sense until a year later

This is the reason long plot lines doesn't work, it brokes the concept of weekly TV cartoons when at the end nothing matters.

The funniest joke in them is they have become everything they bitched about in their earliest seasons. Ironic.

>Hop in sneed.

no one watches Sneed Park.

They honestly should have ended the show on 'You're Getting Old', it would have been an absolutely flawless finale

quads don't lie, every show in that season is a 8/10+

Yea Forums is for 18+ lad

>the last few years

Sour grapes i think. They did everything they could to shit on Trump and he still won. The jabs at Hillary were soft touch. so they could use the excuse of well
>We make fun of both sides
While being part of the media shill campain against Trump.
Notice how they don't even mention their Trump-Garrison character now. It was the start of their downfall. Now all we get is "Safe" targets.

>Seasons 1-2 = decent

goodpost

They've all said this for years, yet ink keeps hitting paper.

Worst board getting mad at South Park means nothing.

Trey Parker and Matt Stone HATED doing team america because of how much work it took.
They are very lazy and dont like hard work

Those episodes aged so poorly considering how badly the Xbox one failed. The Xbox shilling during the original airing of those episodes was unreal

It’s been like 200 replies and you’re the first one to mention any type of politics. Thread was pretty comfy up until your post. Thanks faggot

You know Seth doesn’t and hasn’t done anything besides voice acting in family guy for nearly 15 years right?

Which was the season where they had a good 4 minute monologue of Mr. Trump (Garrison) beg the viewers to vote for Hilary unironically. Made me weirdly uncomfortable

The last season I watched was the one where every joke was LOL WHOLE FOODS

booooooooo

Why do you keep saying Bush Jr and not W

> Comedy Central being a completely unwatchable channel
>giving a shit about a television channel
disgusting desu

Ben Shapiro unironically does make some good points.

Just found out Kyle's mom is voiced by the same woman who voices Mokey from Fraggle Rock
Weird as shit having one of the sweetest and most calming voice I've heard as a kid is produced by the same person who also voices one of the worst voices I've heard
youtube.com/watch?v=EKGspC4_b9k

Them backing the wrong horse then having to jetson their entire season was definitely the funniest thing they have done in years

while i agree imaginationland is complete turbo zoomer bullshit that doesn't have one decent joke in three episodes, it went downhill before that. they're too busy making a point than to make a joke.

>

That’s how it usually goes: now the real question if it was done seriously, or if it was done “ironically” like every Yea Forums thread

*surpasses kino*

He does. You just get mad because he blows your flimsy intro-to-Libby-politics arguments out the water.

>If we just have REAL Market Liberalism, everything would be fixed!
You’re not conservative, you know that right?

I'm a right leaning libertarian. Demand side economics doesn't work.

>classical liberal
>right wing
*laughs in absolute monarchist*

Right wing is more classically liberal now than the modern liberal gibs party.

>hurray! We’ve made it so the right wing is merely always 30 years behind the left wing!

>progression is always a good thing
Lefty politics are digging americas grave

All you people just repeat the same handful of things you heard once and think are smart
>progress isn't always a good thing
>classical liberalism is right wing now
>abloo abloo libruhs bad
Half the time, these aren't even real arguments. They're fucking soundbites.

They're truths and your pity party identity politics don't matter

imagine believing this.

>progress sometimes is bad because of "reasons" and this is a truth
No, it's not you fucking absolute retard. That's a platitude at best, that's not a factual statement.

John Stewart and Stephen Colbert made their careers off Bush. It’s telling that Colbert stopped being relevant or funny when Obama came and O’Reilly went off the air.

This. My guess it is the propaganda from Schools
>anyone can be American
>we are the most Free in the world!
>we are the good guys and that is why we had to fight our wars, to stop all the bad guys! Would Captain America let the bad guys win?
These sort of Axioms are drilled in from youth and seem to make Americans into gibbering retards as a consequence, not to dissimilar to UK Anglos now that I think about it, though of course their Axioms are slightly different...

>social conservatives literally thrive off of identity politics and a poor white victim narrative

>there isn’t an opioid crisis ravaging the rural areas right now
You are as stupid as the lolbertarian, just the opposite side of the same coin

>progression isn't always bad!
>cancer isn't bad
>modern liberalism isn't cancer
>the party of gibs
>the party of killing babies
>the party of censorship
>the party trying to fight the second amendment
>the party fighting the electoral college cuz das racist
>the party of "let them in!"
>the party of chopping their dicks off
>the party that believes in the wage gap
>the party that doesn't realize blacks culture is to blame for their modern shortcomings
>the party that tried to fake collusion
>the party that wants to overtax the wealthy because they're jealous
Yeah nah, progression isn't always a good thing.

>everyone who disagrees with me is left wing
There it is

Idc what you believe as long as we can agree it's cancer and that progression isn't always a good thing.

>a pair of rich liberal """republicans""" with billions of dollars have lost touch with the counter culture and now promote safe groupthink leftism
gee ya think

Shapiro is one of the most evil men alive and unironically and categorically wants the white race to disappear.

Fair enough then

I like every single episode of South Park. Give me any "shitty" episode and I'll point out one genuinely funny moment (in my opinion)

Imagine being enough of a faggot to take fucking /pol/ seriously

Attached: 1557851209580.jpg (731x709, 97K)

>fuck liberals
>haha wow what a funny show
>fuck drumpf
>WOW IT'S SHIT QUALITY NOSEDIVE NOT FUNNY ANYMORE
suffice to say,
have sex

How about that Season 20, particularly the later episodes

>last few years
heh funny
try
>entire running

The season before last was good, it seems like they're on a general trend of one good season every other year.

>Season 1-6: great TV for the time

That’s always been my opinion as well. The show peaked at S3 and the movie followed by S5

I enjoy the new seasons but they have absolutely no re-watch value.
I go back and rewatch the first dozen or so seasons on a regular basis, but I also stop it before the last handful.

7< 8< 6< 4< 10< 9< 5< 3< 2< 11< 1< 13< 14< 15< 12< 16

South Park always been avoiding long term consecuences unless it’s convenient to future plots.

I know zoomers think everything has to be explained or suffered like TDK or GoT, but South Park is not like that

>being this contrarian you like the objectively best season the worst and objectively worst season the best
I really really do not want to know who you are.

did you forget which way you are supposed to use the > and < symbols?

What's the best episode with the emo kids?

Goth*

give me one particular episode and I'll point out one moment that makes me laugh out loud and one moment that works for me on a story-telling level. I can do it for any episode of the show

Imaginationland was hilarious

Goth Kids 3, season 17. It's focused entirely on them and they even have their own theme song

What does that have to do with the victim narrative that whites are being replaced by minorities and genocided and that the government isn't being fair to whites?

it was unironically good but critics didn't like it. It really reminds me an old South Park, like an episode that was accidentally been lost ten ears ago then found and published now

You sure do love your strawmen, don't you?

>Progress by its very nature, has given me indoor plumbing, medicine, flights to the moon and statistically, more benefit that net loss but sometimes there are political parties I don't like, so it's bad
You are a literal retard.

>but critics didn't like it
lol and who the fuck cares
