Is he even human?

Imagine waiting 10 years to get on Jeopardy only to face a god

I’m better because I got dubs

Test

James "Trivia Howitzer" Holtzhauer

does he have a photographic memory cause they should probably test for that before they get people on right?

how is he so strong

I doubt it, there's some questions he got wrong that I'd assume someone with a photographic memory would know

he knows everything and he has Asian and white dna so he’s the ideal human being.

he's not a pussy and always makes real daily double wagers

>he has Asian and white dna
he's gonna pull out a gun and massacre everyone the day he finally loses. calling it now

he is very attractive and i wish him the best

>asian DNA
>ideal human
lol no, asians are the lowest

at this point he might wind up being the next host after Trebek die

he has big dick energy for sure
a living legend, relish these days while you can

I wonder what'll happen first; his losing, or Trebek dying. My money is on James keeping his hold well into the next season.

Like it's that hard? The only thing he does better is bet more aggressively.

it would be too easy to fake
All you'd have to do is pretend to forget during the test

That's why he's the jeopardy GOAT
Unlike bitchass Ken Jennings playing it safely

>yfw he's been wearing an earpiece the whole time as an experiment

why the fuck does he smile like this

Attached: GhZ9w.jpg (654x560, 63K)

Nope, he also answers more correctly than others. Ken Jennings got 91.1% of his answers correct, James is at 96.9%.

If you learn the tricks, it's actually easier than you'd think to become proficient at Jeopardy. There are sets of questions that come up time and time again, so you just memorize those lists. Like, you just memorize all the presidents of the USA, all the kings of england, every state and capitol, etc etc. Once you realize that all the knowledge on the show is drawn from one of a finite number of lists, the show just becomes a memorization game. That's not to diminish what he's done, because clearly he has managed to memorize more lists with better recall than anyone else. But the more important thing he's introduced is the massive bets. There have been others who approached his level of memorization, but no one else has ever come near his tolerance for risk, and that's why he's blowing everyone away.

How much money has he made lads?

Millions?

he made $130,000 today, he's at $2.2 million now. Dominated so hard Alex straight up said only way to beat him is to mute him lol

kek

Mad cash

I'm glad you can tell even Alex is getting tired of him always winning
It gets boring fast

He might last longer than Trebek.

Dubs to cure his cancer

HOW LONG UNTIL HE ...break ken win total record

>not doubling down on that 72k

Fucking pussy

Rolling

I have no idea what you're talking about.

Attached: giga james.jpg (990x1224, 483K)

I got it

There's been a few times where he could have been beat. A few days ago that bearded cunt was far ahead on him and hit a daily double and then bet nothing and got it right. He could have ended him there.

He's strong but his competitors are scrubs.

Based

5 more episodes assuming he averages $70k, he regularly does better than that so I'd say he'll beat the record on Friday

rolling

I don't get why people are so conservative with bets, unless you win you only get $2k or $1k, betting everything to guarantee yourself top spot and maximise your winnings is obviously the best strategy.

Jennings will replace Trebek as host.

Depends on what asian.

>go up against a record-setting gambler genius who notoriously has a high-risk, balls-out strategy
>manage to gain control of the board
>pick a $200 question
These people are too fucking stupid to live.

this
If it's Thoreau it's Walden Pond
If it's an Egyptian King it's Tut (literally tonight's ep.)
ect.

Could James beat the IBM computer?

his gameplay is 50% strategy, 50% knowledge
ken jennings meanwhile was almost all about knowledge and quick recall
if you gave them both something like a normal written exam ken would easily beat james

>Fuck up the buzzer and James takes your $200 and control of the board
Sad! Many such cases.

Nobody can because it can hit the buzzer faster than a human

James would be killing it even without his strategy. You clearly do not watch. He could play the board top to bottom and still win just as easy.

Brad is the one that's hard to understand. He's just a normal guy that knows everything for some reason.

shut the fuck up james

>if you gave them both something like a normal written exam ken would easily beat james
see
>Ken Jennings got 91.1% of his answers correct, James is at 96.9%.

Fpbp

This is so wrong.

was james a plant for ratings with Trebek on the way out? i never see threads about jeopardy on Yea Forums but since james began his tear we have a few a day at least

ITS NOT FUN
ITS NOT FAIR
ITS A GAME
NOT EVERYBODY HAS TIME TO DEDICATE THEIR ENTIRE LIFE TO THIS GAME

>select the high-money questions first
>hands in the optimal position to hit the buzzer first
>gamble the highest amount of money possible without throwing away victory on an incorrect answer

It's not even high strategy. Everyone else just needs to step the fuck up.

I love that some scrappy gambler is the Jeopardy GOAT

nerds BTFO, fuckin losers

What is she an Amish or one of those other creepy American cults?

He's only been on two game shows before, and only won one of them, I'd imagine if you tried to list the people who could do well on Jeopardy and bring in the viewers he'd likely not be on anyone's radar.

>degen gamblers
>not nerds

>implying he's not getting the answers to boost ratings

I don't know but you're a newfaggot

I should've said normal exam that isn't as entry level as Jeopardy
Ken played quizbowl which tests both depth and breadth of knowledge
James himself says he prepared by reading children's books
Jeopardy tests breadth, speed and strategy (and to some extent personality) which is why very few quizbowl players (some of whom have incredible memory) go on Jeopardy
t. played college quizbowl

Based James keeps on dabbing

No I just don't watch any tournaments because they're all shit made for dummies.

Ken Jennings ain't shit. The only one who can stop him is Unbeatable Brad Rutter.

Attached: 54cab07a674871890b57460b_image.jpg (1031x1200, 910K)

The last time this happened, 17 people working on the show got arrested and the series was cancelled. It's a fucking stupid way to increase ratings when you can just find a trivia autist who can do the same thing.

I miss her

Attached: julia collins.png (1199x1076, 1.53M)

I can't fucking wait for the next Tournament of Champions, it's going to be insane.

No. He doesn’t. Answering correctly more often on different game boards isn’t indicative of anything.

Why would they? Having a photographic memory isn’t cheating.

Counting cards isn't cheating but Vegas casinos will still throw you out if you do it because they lose money. I doubt Jeopardy could care though, win streaks boost the ratings which means more advertiser money, compared to which James' winnings are a drop in the ocean.

>people giving all these reasons for success about big bets and question picking
>when it all hinges on fact that James has one of the highest answer accuracies

>No. He doesn’t.
I assure you those statistics are correct

>Answering correctly more often on different game boards isn’t indicative of anything
This is what butthurt haters actually believe

No. Counting cards is actual cheating.

It doesn’t matter if they are correct. He wins because he bets strategically. Everyone on Jeopardy knows about 90% of the questions. Playitj

>t. Vegas
No it isn't

I have a recurring dream where Emma and I are having a picnic on an infinite plane. She wanted an apple from the tree so I climbed it and gave it to her, but when she was about to give me a thank you kiss she morphed into a pit bull and bit me, then called me a faggot

James is an awkward autistic dork though

Unironic 300+ IQ.

Attached: xbiqdvds99031.jpg (450x1492, 870K)

Bro that's some expensive Victoria Beckham dress. She's just a rich homeschool kid.

Not even remotely true. James is outpacing Ken in literally every metric. You're underestimating the autism of the Jeopardy fanbase, they run the statistics on this shit. Look up what a 'coryat' score is. James performing better than Ken on average even without his wagers.

>You're underestimating the autism of the Jeopardy fanbase
To be fair it's pretty hard not to

>mfw I found out that they've recorded every single question and answer for every game played from episodes 1 to 8,001 (yesterday)

He admits that the trivia of jeopardy is the easy because it's made for people at home to feel like they can play along.

He probably ignores them when they're escorted offstage.

Mary looks like a pissed off Olivia Munn
Li3 is probably confused as to where she is and probably forgot to turn the stove off at home

I love Li3

Two reasons. He's quick on the button and he exploits the daily double to its limit by picking high value questions first.

imagine comforting Liz when she comes home and is super sad about losing on Jeopardy :3

Did Liz have to enter into sexual slavery to pay back her debt?

*SNAP*

No it isn't.

>Li3
what the fuck

zoomers will never understand cursive

Yes, it is.
It’s manipulating the game.

it says Lib

Card counting isn't dishonest or unfair, it's just being better at the game than the dealer wants you to be

>omg he actually knows the rules, that's cheating!

Nobody will replace Trebek as host, except a hologram of Trebek.

I love this scene
>James being based
>Mary angry at the patriarchy
>liz what am i doin lol

How about Watson with a picture of Trebek stuck to the front?

No, it’s not. This has nothing to do with the rules.

I don’t see why you’re talking about how many men he fucks?

Could be.

I would like to point out that I recognized the superior signaling strategy years ago and pointed it out in the Watson challenge. Of course, Brad Rutter knew it before me. He also taught it to Larissa Kelly in the team tournament which I mentioned here:

no one cares

I just hope he doesn't wuss out deliberately like Jennings and blow an obvious final jeopardy answer

If you didn't care you wouldn't reply.

no one cares

You're the guy who goes -5000

Don't listen to that faggot. I care.

Is this a real pic? Maybe she can beat him

How is keeping track of the visible cards on the table and what's left in the deck cheating? It's basic logical deduction and knowing what percentage probability you have to gain more points or bust.

It's playing the game at its highest level. Far from cheating.

No. It’s playing a different game entirely.

>Counting cards is actual cheating.
No it isn't. There are laws that say it is not. If a casino catches you counting cards they can only ban you from playing there. If it was cheating they could have you arrested.

There's only one God, and He doesn't look like that.

mashallah

>Mary angry at the patriarchy

>If you learn the tricks, it's actually easier than you'd think to become proficient at Jeopardy.
That's especially true if you know what to look at. Many times, the answer is in the clue itself.

Don't question, accept that the internet right is a mental illness and move on.

got more info? thanks

Do they ever kick people off of this show just because people are sick of seeing them win? Or will we eventually get some Jeopardy god who will never be unseated?

imagine having a retarded liz gf :3

Let's say James earns $20 million. The networks will have him kil. I'm dead serious. He's to good.

How GoT should have really ended. Girls are the worst.

Probably going to shoot up a school.
