now that streaming is popular and people are more likely to watch a season in one sitting,overarching plots and removal of the status quo could open the door to new stories, having these characters develop and grow would definitely get people to tune in again.It would take some talented writers however or it could end up like nu South Park.also sneed I guess

I definitely wouldn’t mind a few two part episodes like Who Shot Mr Burns. Like you said though, South Park fucked up with season long plot lines.

And I checked out a few new episodes, if the last ten years has been a 2/10, it’s now a 3/10. All the clamor over how shitty it is must be getting to them finally.

At this pont the best they could do is cancel the show, apologize for the last 20 seasons, declare them non-canon, restart fresh with short episodes like they did before the show and maybe one half hour special every year on halloween.
