Dean personally taught Jack to fish and drive. He’ll make Jesse his bitch. But no seriously, I was open to a Jack-led continuation series months back but now that God is the literal big bad I don’t know how else a future series or a spinoff can have stakes, and a prequel is doomed to fail since we already know what happens and will also have zero cosmic stake

I say bring the stakes right down. Make Jack want to be a hunter, throw a debuff on him so that he's not OP and have his first solo hunt be to get Jesse. They bond over being walking superweapons and start saving people and hunting things. Make it like S1-3 where the stakes were relatively low and let the setting and the characters do the work. Maybe the Empty gets bust open and the boys have to deal with a Knight of Hell or even a Leviathan once in a while.

Why not to alternating episode of the boys and the girls so we see both pairs from the other's points of view. Like the boys are really dysfunctional and keep punching above their weight trying to be like Sam and Dean so they seem like reckless losers to the girls but during their episodes we see how their power debuffs make them feel useless when all they want to do is help people so actually they're doing the best they can. Meanwhile the girls seem really competent and well trained thanks to Jody but Alex is really trying to figure out a way to escape the life and Claire is on a suicide mission trying to kill as many evil things as she can because she doesn't know anything else.

Occasionally we see Aiden and Krissy who are like the hunter power couple ideal by now that both pairs aspire to be like. Make the whole show about the hunter lifestyle, that was always the stuff I wanted more of in the OG series.

The machine is the best girl/boy/other/none-of-the-above from POI. He/She/Other/None-of-the-above would make a great waifu/husbando/other.

You don't really. I don't really post anything incomplete online anymore because it's a nightmare getting intellectual property protected if it's already out in the open and nobody buys something that's not fully theirs. If I ever upload anything it's because I've given up trying to sell it or I've been given certain assurances. The web series is on hold at the moment because money is a little tight but I've made decent progress. I've also been working on a cyperpunk thing that might turn out to be a comic book but I'm not sure. I envisioned it as a television series but I'm exploring options and there's always out of work artists who might be down for a team-up. If anything goes on sale I'll throw a thanks to Albert Magnus though just to show I've not forgotten where I came from.

Just the other day I saw someone on tv praising "Love Death and Robots" on a show talking about artificial intelligence.
It's so fucking unfair no one ever talks about PoI reggarding that, considering it does a far better job in telling an AI story than most of the sci fi stuff I've watched.
Also been trying a few episodes of LD&R lately... imagine my surprise when I found out it mas many "woke" episodes. Fucking netflix... At least one of them was comfy so far though.

I'm halfway through season 3 of Farscape which I was assured was the best season. As of now, 10 episodes through, Season 2's second half was better. Too much Aeryn / Crichton relationship, not enough Crichton acting like a movie hero to fool people

It was one of, if not the best sci-fi show in decades, definitely the best if you narrow it down just to "shows about artificial intelligence" but nobody knows of it. All I can hope for at this point is that eventually, some day, it becomes a cult classic.

Punished Reese was incredible. He felt a bit flat to me but that sequence retroactively made me appreciate his character. And the way he just went through everyone that came at him like it was nothing was absolute kino.

Part of what made Reese great, and Caviezel's portrayal specifically was how obvious it was that the ultra stoic, quiet professional thing was a put on. There were multiple times during the show where he cracked and it became obvious it was just his armor, a coping mechanism for all the shit he's done. He did a great job in that role.

It does, it's a nice wrapped up ending, with joy and tears in it. Would even leave space for sequels that will never get picked sadly, but the story arc is complete.
