Could be a cool expanded universe kind of thing with him growing into an Irredeemable (great comic series read it if you like comics at all) type villian.

Also the witch and fishboy seem like interesting spin off movies.

in fact, Super is part of this universe, Crimson Bolt appears in a scene

is he, dare I say it, /ourguy/?

It was ok. It would have been better if they hadn't pussed out on the premise. It would have been better if it had been about what would really happen if a kid had super powers instead of making him programmed from birth to be evil. We all know kids are self absorbed and lack boudries and don't learn how to be a good person until we're older but every one thinks they are all pure and innocent. If he had started out trying to help people and progressively got worse as he began to realize he had a life free of consequence then maybe i would rate it higher. If they had gone that direction it would have been a 8/10 movie. As it is its about a 6/10.

>be perfectly normal boy
>5 minutes later
>jerking off to anatomy charts and offal while mutilating chickens
immediately knew movie would be mediocre when this happened

Yeah the voices shit was a total copout. It should have had a natural progression instead of that forced evil by nature shit. That's the point of Superman in the first place he learns how to love humans thanks to being around them and being raised by them... so it should be the same for Brightburn he hates them from having to live around them.

That would be even more stupid, a bad boy does not think of ways to kill, you become an edgelord at 16 not in your childhood, if he had just been a "bad" boy he would seek to be someone famous or be a bully or steal toys etc, he had a mental illness and that's why he became a villain
>realize he had a life free of consequence
a child does not think about that, in fact, he would be scared, you can not think that a child has the mental complexity of a teenager

>>be perfectly normal boy
What is it with you retards literally not getting he is the exact opposite of that since the beginning of the movie.

Why is that man wearing a Chinese bootleg Flash costume?

You have never met a 12 year old in real life apparently. They are in the throes of puberty and are extremely self absorbed. If there were a 12 year old with powers like superman there wouldn't be an un-raped woman within a 500 mile radius of him. It would be pretty horrible.

We get that. We are saying it would have been a better movie if had been a normal boy who had super powers.

good, would love to see more of this universe...
