>Zyzzyx Road was shown once a day, at noon, for six days (February 25 – March 2, 2006) at Highland Park Village Theater in Dallas, Texas,[4] a movie theater rented by the producers for $1,000.[1] The limited release was deliberate: Grillo was uninterested in releasing the film domestically until it underwent foreign distribution, but needed to fulfill the U.S. release obligation required by the Screen Actors Guild for low-budget films[1] (films with budgets less than $2.5 million that are not for the direct-to-video market).[5]
>The strategy had the side effect of making it, at the time, the lowest-grossing film in history; it earned just $30 at the box office, from six patrons.[2] Unofficially, its opening weekend netted $20, with the $10 difference due to Grillo personally refunding two tickets purchased by Sheila Moore, the film's makeup artist, who saw the film with a friend.[1]
Why would they make him look like Justin long?

That one Emma movie that made 7 pounds.
Making movies is basically gambling with even worse odds. Imagine wasting money studying for a career in film
>destroyed a beloved franchise
They're still making them
He's actually doing another Pinnochio, this time as Gepetto.
the biggest flop is the internet, unironically

>the biggest flops of all time
Depends on the budget. Even if that movie only made $220, if they didn't spend a lot making it and they can get it sold to TV networks, streaming and the like it could still make a profit.
Monetarily Guy Ritchie's King Arthur movie holds the record with a loss of $150 million. Adjusted for inflation an animated Sinbad movie with Brad Pitt that I never heard of holds the record with $125 million loss in 2003.

Interesting list, a lot of kid's movies, it actually has some half decent films on it like Titan AE, John Carter and that Sinbad movie which has some really pretty traditional animation (like Titan AE). People have shit taste, none of those films deserved to bomb that hard when garbage like The Boss Baby manages to make bank.
JL literally killed the DCEU.
>Makes a flop that loses $150 million
>Still gets to make a huge budget Aladdin movie
Hollywood is a strange place.
Aquaman made more money than Captain Marvel just after that
>(films with budgets less than $2.5 million that are not for the direct-to-video market)
Jesus Christ.
It really isn't. One of the secret to life is connections.
>they can get it sold to TV networks, streaming and the like it could still make a profit
Reasonable people know that. But on Yea Forums people think if it doesn't make a billion in a month it's a flop.
Kill yourself faggot scum

>One of the only unions that seems like a giant mob organization
how fucking young/retarded are you faggot?
isn’t the Fifa movie about how their President wasn’t corrupt that was released right as there was a massive deep corruption corruption scandal with them the worst all time?
didn’t it get like $6 only?
Ghostbusters flopped so bad that Sony just said "fuck it" and announced Ghostbusters 3
I wanna fuck this roastie
>Titan AE
>Sinbad
This makes me sad, I like traditional animation and more specifically traditional animation movies that aim for a slightly more mature audience than kid's movies, but that kind of thing seems to be dead outside of Japan.
