It was weird when he became a robot and not a piece of gum
I wonder what happened to all these sets and props of old YTV.
Probably crew took some Momentos, anything expensive got reused and the rest in the garbage.
Anyone else watch this growing up?
Remember Christina's ass in those jeans?
>The sets, miniatures and puppets from Freaky Stories are probably all rotting in some city landfill now
Shit forgot pic
Would you?
MY THINGS SOUND EFFECTS, HERE'S A T-REX

Kino
Was QUADS Canadian?
I always distinctly remember me relaxing on a couch, the sun going down in the evening with cool air breezing through. Freaky Stories was always a good show to relax to.
I used to jerk off to this. It was terrible, but hypersexual.
First there was that British animated horror story show that was kind of shit. Had to wait for that to finish. Good time to take a bath. Then Escaflowne came on after, rad. Then it was DRAGONBALL Z! This was at like 8:30 or something if I recall.
>I use to own this town...
did someone say comfykino?

Who /Kawhi/ here?
Great rack
I don't care that she is older. I want to marry - or at least have playful coitus with PJ Katie.
Freaky Stories and Grizzly Tales were my jam, even as an adult they're still fucked up and funny
youtu.be
Grizzly Tales was fucking great.
I always thought Hank was Mark Ruffalo for some autistic reason until I realized that would make no sense
t. Lover of squweam

You gotta say they have a striking resemblance
This was her 5 years ago so she probably looks even more JUST now.
It was funny playing DXHR and hearing a lot of voices I remembered from Canadian TV, like with the teacher as Adam's gf's mom, or Mr. Rathburn's VA as the wealthy guy at the end.

The boys were so handsome.
Any anons here remember Dudley the Dragon?
>only good show left on canadian tv
>season 3 is filmed and finished but since viceland died it might not air until 2020 at the earliest
why even live
I'd walk home from school for lunch and watch it every day at noon while eating a grilled cheese.
>this thread
Guaranteed native.
when I went home for school, we'd have lipton chicken soup and grilled cheese, and watch an episode of Camp Caribou
I had that too but watched teddy ruxpin
Unironically one of my best memories is streaming episodes of goosebumps and AYAOTD for a solid week between uni semesters a few years ago with people from, I think /x/.
Jesus what happened?
I know it's not really TV, but you guys hear that Bookie died last week?
F
Do you ever hang out in sleepsnug?
I remember impressing some "nonbinary" chick by saying that Cybersix was ahead of its time by featuring a genderfluid protagonist lmao
I miss justin.tv for shit like this. There were some good random streams that people would do on long weekends and stuff.
i had to watch it when my mom wasn't around because she's a huge christfag and i guess it was too sexual.
What show?
I'm gonna go with no, because I don't even know what that is.
This would have been back in 2009-2010, and I only know that because of the America's Next Top Model threads on /x/. I can't believe Alison's wiki page is still the creepychan picture!
This looks so uncomfortable.
This show was the epitome of comfy.
the comic is way more sexual and has a lot more rape than I was expecting
I'm feeling things I don't like feeling man
>tfw life basically peaks when you're a baby
>people say I eat too many chocolate bars
I honestly still think about wtf that's supposed to mean. I thought acne was like, you'd call somebody greasy or pizzaface. I've never heard anybody say somebody has acne because they eat too much chocolate.
Seriously, I was thinking about this literally yesterday while I was washing my face in the shower.
Watch the Billie Eilish video for Bad Guy.
I'm sure nobody on Yea Forums likes her, but trust me. Watch it on mute or something.
fuck i loved that as a kid
I remember being told eating chocolate was bad for acne. Dunno if it was a myth or not.
sleepsnug on cytube
Comfy streaming of horror shows like goosebumps and afraid of the dark

Guy's... I was just getting a picture for YTV's Dark Night (you remember? The Halloween specials? You could call in, answer questions to win prizes).
Right click -> Save image as -> dark night.jpg
>File already exists
>It's old. Very old.
D-deja vu...
I have been in this thread before
It hurts and I don't know why.
Get out of my ( ) head, user.
... did you ever make it through the busy phone lines?
Once my sister did, but it was the wrong number, and she just yelled at some old lady that a girl from an episode of freaky stories had eaten a fish.
How old is the file?
they got old? kenny is 52 and spenny is 56
That would have been Dark Night 5 I think. Friday October 24, 1997.
Yeah she does the walk around the clock for sure

Seeing it I remember finding and saving it for one of these threads.

Time is absolutely merciless.
Really hated Dudly for some reason. :(
didn't know there were comics, i'll check them out user
This is Alison Court, who voiced Claire in all the Resident Evil games until the RE2 remake.
Damn I guess in my head they were in their 30s. Watching some episodes now (Kenny's YouTube has them all up) and yeah I guess it was just because they were acting like morons.
Still gets me that CBC greenlit the first season.
All the kids they let play these games were such scrubs.
nirvanna the band the show
I bet Phil is a paedo. He has that look. I thought that even as a kid and I had a great pedo sense back then. I got raped zero times and only molested twice.
It definitely is.
>I come from the Net. I search through systems, cities, and peoples, for this place, Mainframe, my home...
THAT MATRIX ARC WAS SO GOOD BROS WE NEED TO GO BACK
It was usually their first time playing the game so it was slightly more impressive. It always got me they didn't even win the game.
Australia-Canadian co-production. The ultimate in TV shitposting.
If I was older I probably would have fapped to hexadecimal.
It's never too late to start user

I don't mean to get /pol/ or anything, but isn't it weird how islam barely even felt like it was on the map in the 90's?
I don't think I've ever seen that clip before, but it felt comfy.
youtube.com
Blackfly is the song that's been on repeat in my head for eternity.
I remember that. A time before cable when all we had was TVO. I also remember Art Attack. Not that that was Canadian, but I remember watching both those shows all the time. The rest is kind of a blur.
If I recall a story from an user who got on the show as a kid from a past thread I think they purposefully wanted scrubs. Most kids sucked so if you actually knew how to play it would be like modern Jeopardy. Not that their scoring methods ever made sense or that they kept track. I think the story went they were ahead, but they gave the prize to a more TV friendly kid instead because of some arbitrary reason. Wouldn't doubt that considering how low budget things felt.
>ywn be scuzzy and get to lick away at hexidecimals harlequin pussy while she sits on her weirdo throne trying on masks
why live?
I read them in French as a kid I'm not sure if there's an English version but it's definitely worth checking out if you liked the show - it's waaaay darker though
Does ANYONE here remember BBS Master Control or am I just crazy?
It doesn't even ring any bells, user. Where from?
I still have my membership card from that. Somewhere.
You can't even find it on YouTube. It was from the old Baton Broadcasting System that went off the air in the late 90s. It was basically all just cartoons and she would pop in from time to time.
I'm almost certain it emanated from Toronto
Why be you when you can be me?
It also had a lot of Disney shows on their timeslot as you can see in the bottom and all the toys in the background. I think afterwards it was entirely replaced by ABC's One Saturday Morning
Why let somebody else decide who you should be?
How were the 90's so based and wholesome? Today the entire world is "how can you be more like all the popular people?"
I don't think we can ever go back...

Hey guys! Just passing through to traumatize your generation! On my way over to /RBMK/ to post this over there too.
If you were me, then I'd be you, and I'd use your body to get to the top! You can't stop me no matter who you are! [laughs menacingly] LOSER!
Quick google and I think I finally remember where that was from. Says something about being partnered with CTV at times, so I think they did the Saturday morning or after school cartoons segments. Always felt like it was a made up station inside another one to me, that would explain it.
Remember when we had commercials telling kids (and adults too, let's be real) "Use your brain you fucking idiots" youtu.be
Shiiiit.. I remember this show had some moments that spooked me hard as a kid
>Scariest Places on Earth
>other kids were actually fooled by this
literal retards
I was never fooled by it, ever
p.s. don't you put it in your mouth (nuh uh)
Yeah, I don't exactly know what the relaonship or partnership was, but they had been around for 50 years before being amalgamated or merged with CTV. Maybe it was a separate network before the national one gained traction.
Anyway, she and another girl she replaced was on every Saturday morning and it was...very pleasant, is what I remember.
I fucking love all of the early-mid 2000's kid's horror stuff. Mystery Hunters was especially good because it also played the skeptical angle.
Thanks for that user. That fucking song's in my head now.
I had some fond memories of it myself. I honestly thought I made it up as a kid, but last year doing some cleaning I found a membership card from the club so it had to be real. I don't remember what the membership did, but it was a nice reminder.
Remember ROSWELL CONSPIRACIES? This is my waifu, she's a cute white haired Irish lass (a banshee). Say something nice about her.
I dont get it
is that the old youtube logo or something?
Zoomers fuck off
I never got to join the club so that's cool you were a member.
>Those episodes that always took place in some rainy film-noir/cyberpunk 1950s setting
>Show hosted by a cockroach and maggot in a nighttime diner
Freaky Stories was always so comfy. Really underrated show.
Congrats, she is obscure enough that no one will talk shit about her.
Yeah, back from when it was called YouTube Video
why does this look like some type of bruce timm stuff?
SHOW US YOUR FANGS
YAY MONA
she and her friend were very cute without their costumes why did you wear dreadlocks as a vampire it looked like shit, mona
>tfw remembering being up late at night, bored and browsing through channels
>"oh I catched the opening sequence of this cartoon, wonder what it's about"
>immediately enraptured by it, but I remember having to go to bed before my parents would be mad at me for staying up so late
>never to learn what it was, forgetting even the name, until I hit this thread
lot of emotions right now lads
Describe everything you remember about it and see if the nostalgia machine can answer your lifelong questions. Unless you mean Cybersix, in which case enjoy the show. Should be a great nostalgia trip.
Comfy thread but y'all forgetting about my nigga Andy - a cartoon about an IRL shitposter pranking normies, Genre: Cringe comedy, based on the JUST! series by Australian Andy Griffiths. Literally /ourshow/
There are so many good shows from the 90s and early 2000s that it's hard to post them all in these threads.
I am rewatching it right now. I don't know what I'm feeling exactly, sadness but also happy I found it again, and even if it doesn't live up to what I thought it was, it doesn't matter. The 90's had really wacky, out-there stuff but more importantly it was creative and you could feel it in every ounce that it gave a shit, just listen to the opening sequence.
>Hey guys!
>Can I be in the thread too?!
It's quality, so I doubt you'll be disapointed. The series was cancelled after the first season though, so it'll have a bitter sweet feeling too. Nostalgia for that show must be something crazy to experience. I'm glad you can though.
I don't care what anyone says. This show was amazing.
ANGELA ANACONDA DIGIVOLVE TO
ANGELAMON
Nostalgia'd hard
I wish I could remember the name of those unbelievably primitive CGI shorts they'd do sometimes between comercials
Commonwealth stronk
I stopped being a retard and googled them, and they were Short Circuitz
This show confused me as a kid, I didnt understand why she pretended to be a dude during the day and if that blonde bulky guy knew the chick he sometimes makes out with, hangs with him but as a guy
Cybersix is awesome dude, I get nostalgic watching it aswell
it's like a reverse clark kent/superman trope
Made more sense than a pair of glasses and a hair swirl to hide your identity.
That cartoon was really cringy and unfunny, like a boomer trying to be young and hip and talking to kids. It was just awful, I always changed the channel on it.
But, it also don't be like that.
The comic provides a lot more backstory, she takes the identity of a guy who dies in a car crash because she's being hunted by the evil Nazi scientist who created and then killed all the other Cybers
>ywn have childhood fever dreams to crazy quilt again
Am I baked as fuck, or is that french pineapple looking at me?
Hey, the show Ryan Gossling started his career on.
Yes.
I thought it was breaker high, but you might be right.
used to love watching things like canada in the rough and other fishing shows that were on in the morning on a couple channels. survivorman reruns on OLN were always nice too.
He had a small guest role in the show when he was younger. Breaker High was one of his first major roles and the only show I actually remembered him from.
THIS THREAD I WANT TO GO BACK I WANT TO GO BACK AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
easily the comfiest tv show
Man, this was my Jam.
G.P. and his inventions are one of the things that directed me towards engineering.
I guess the thread's over, and it's 3:30am
Goodnight, leaves. It was fun hangin' out with you all. We'll do it again sometime. We always do.
I thought these were a fever dream. What else is real?!
