There’s a new MUTO, but it doesn’t fight anyone. It looks a lot like the female from the 2014 film.

My main criticism is the sheer amount of things that they crammed into the film. It was a bit overwhelming desu. The Oxygen Destroyer was a bit rushed, too. The battle of Boston was intense. And again, a bit overwhelming. The bowing scene leads to one of the coolest shots I’ve ever seen. Charles Dance was my favorite, but Watanabe’s Serizawa was a close second.

if the people working on this movie played Super Godzilla then they could have a plot where injecting Kong with memedorah cells grants him the electricity absorbing power that Kong had in the original Kong vs Godzilla, plus regeneration and a bigger size.

Was Kong: Skull Island any good? How does it compare to Godzilla 2014? I give Godzilla 2014 a 6/10, and I am psyched to see King of the Monsters this week.

How much does Ghidorah, and Godzilla for that matter, use their beams throughout the course of this movie? The fight scenes in the last movie were very much melee-focused and so I'm curious as to the extent that's changed.

I liked it well enough. It's definitely brighter than 2014, but none of the individual character performances were quite on the level of Cranston, or even Watanabe to an extent. I'd give it at least one watch and go from there.
