I saw it yesterday, it was super average. I was afraid that Will would be just a normal human for the entirety of the movie, but that wasn't the case. He was actually one of the better characters.
The songs were not very good apart from Never Had a Friend in Me. Everyone but Jasmine is autotuned. Prince Ali should be one of the biggest spectacles in the movies, but it's underwhelming. Aladdin has a 5 minute scene of putting his foot in his mouth. Jasmine gets a song about how she's a strong Arabian women who don't need no men, thank god she's the only one who can actually sing. Jafar was mostly a whiny fuck.
All in all, it's a 6/10. It's not a waste of a movie ticket but it will be forgotten in a year.
