Can anyone explain to me why mutts find Elizabethan architecture "spooky"? Do they hate beauty or what?
Because it's spooky
daily.jstor.org
here. its sums up the cultural change pretty towards these types of houses well
probably has something to do with the age. Castles are sometimes spooky too, and abandoned places.
>Till DEATH do us part!
Women, am I right?
Castles were seen as spooky because they were half-ruined, were often used as a hideout by outlaws or wild animals and could simply kill you by crumbling down on your head while you were walking there.
>spooks
super based
AND CONSIDER THIS DISMAYING OBSERVATION
THIS THREAD HAS NO WINDOWS AND NO DOORS...
What about the door we came in?
how do you get in there?
I know Yea Forums generally doesn't like Disneyland as much as World but I thought I'd share anyways

You can thank me later
Disneyland is for shitheads. Go shoehorn the hatbox ghost into your inferior Haunted Mansion and cry yourself to sleep knowing that Disneyland will forever be irreparably damaged in less than a week.
Thank you user, now i seriously need to take a vacation.
me again, I feel you bro. it sucks
Imagine being American and unironically being afraid of things having history.
Imagine living anywhere but America
I still have this vhs somewhere
when I was a kid I didn't understand how the exterior of the mansion at disneyworld (OP pic) was supposed to be scary
then again I am mentally ill so that might've had something to do with this
It frankly looks more like he's crying.
Also he's a quintessential ignorant mutt. He wasn't aware that scythe is an actual agricultural tool, he thought it was only used by the Grim Reaper.
If it's scary to you, by all means stay away from England.
Can't you see? It has a bat on its weathervane! Except bats are a heraldic symbol and often associated with the former kingdom of Aragon, so not really scary either.
ITS GONE
Phantom Manor is pretty dope. Apparently a new version just opened?
It just got a fuckton of renovations, yeah

I miss going to disneyland. I wish I had a gf to take there.
The architecture itself isn't spooky, but the classic "old abandoned haunted mansion" concept was made at a time where Elizabethan-era structures were still around but in a state of decay/aging
As a kid I screamed so hard here that my mom had to take me out the emergency exit that's behind a curtain
>meet me at the Purple Wall!
wasn't there a hanging body?
I went there 2 months ago and it seemed changed.
anyone have rare pics or pics with the lights on?
Is there any cosplay porn of girls in Disney castmember uniforms? I'd be all about that
The hanging body is still there in all versions save for the refurbished Phantom Manor, where it's now just the Phantom with a noose
With enough money anything's possible
oh feet, guaranteed Yea Forums replies
me too, man
I'm not a mutt, but American plantations give me the jeepers and I don't know why.
>tfw you find out there are literally 2 exits covered by a thin curtain
Because real men once occupied them and you're afraid they might show up again one day.
it use to drop and scream. now its not really anything.
Probably the same reason why Polish death camps scare people. Lots of people were worked to death there.
It's definitely still there
>southern dandies
>men
>able to get people to work for free for hundreds of years without uprisings
Yeah what fags
I guess guns are men, then.
Yeah, resourceful and powerful men.
