Lupita was awesome desu but that only served to highlight how mediocre the rest of the cast were. Also, le ebin tweest...Has anything ever been more blatantly telegraphed? Fuck tha Police made me laugh. Muh duality of man...Fuck right off...It's essentially a dumb movie that thinks it's smart for dumb people who think they're smart.

A lot of things there didn't serve any purpouse. What the hell was that human chain for? Why the hell they didn't kill them right at the spot as those other clones did?

>Lupita was awesome desu
All of their acting was shit, especially the father.
Movie was fucking horrible.

the only thing the movie had going for it is the fact that black people are fucking creepy

i thought tim heidecker did a good job

maybe because the OG Lupita character wanted to get revenge with the tethered version

Revenge would have been sending her back. Too bad that also lays bare yet another glaring plothole in the movie - she could just walk out.

Literally no one has been able to explain to me the purpose of the human chain

I wanna breed her

There isn’t one. Just like how there’s no reason that “Five on It” is a recurring musical motif. There’s literally no reason for it. Unless someone surprises me with it being some obscure reference, I’m going to keep believing it just sounded spooky to Peele.

And that’s why she later tries to kill her in tunnel without audience?

>Has anything ever been more blatantly telegraphed?
I'm so old, stupid and disconnected I didn't even consider there being a tweeest.
Entertaining movie though, always nice seeing Yea Forums being wrong again. Kinda hokey

>Yea Forums can't understand allegories, let alone double allegories

I'm okay with not everyone liking this movie.

get into animal husbandry

it's a metaphor for dream of Americans ever coming together as one big happy family.

there was a down escalator, which is a metaphor for the troubles escaping poverty.

The movie is just too subtle for Yea Forums, but they'd rather blame the movie. Not a big deal.

What allegories? Movie is dumb as fuck don't try to make it look smart.

I could see the "five" being the nuclear family, the mom and dad and 2.5 kids
movie still sucked

sick off seeing that ugly face

>jordan peele
So, what kind of evil things have doing the white people this time?

The original hands across America was to raise attention and money for those in poverty.
The tethered doing it brings attention to their status as an underclass in society. Like the "We're Americans" line (on the nose though that was)

So the only way we could all come together as one big happy family is if we were all poor and lived in tunnels?

Disagree.

It's a human wall in red. What the fuck do you think it's designed to promote.

In addition to the fact that Peele said that it was a movie where people are encouraged to self-reflect - it's a thinly veiled political film with horror undertones.

I enjoyed parts of it but the crowbaring of what felt like Peele's agenda was a bit rough.

nigggers are so ugly lmao

It's not a wall though, it's a human chain

Having to throw down $5 dollars down every time you smoke with niggers because they never smoke a buddy out for free, no matter how many times you have smoked them out previously, is people coming together?

You have pretty bad taste in movies. Le politics aside, the writing was very amateur. The scene were the shadows first show up in the driveway was intense but then they immediately are all inside sitting around the couch, it was just full retard. And continued downhill from there

>It's essentially a dumb movie that thinks it's smart for dumb people who think they're smart.
Didn’t you watch Get Out first?
