So apparently in the books Jon will be the one to kill the Night King & the reason the show writers didnt do this was because they wanted the show to be progressive & they made Arya kill the night king to be the hero....
They fucking ruined the entire Jon story line for what? Just to make a "badass" female character... fucking idiots!
nah if anything once melisandre rezs jon by sacrificing shireen, he'll become the night's king but he won't be related to the others. he'll be leading the wildlings and be more like lady stoneheart.
Ayden Price
no they did it because they had no idea what todo with aryas shitty anime plotline
Aaron Morgan
Global warming will kill the White Walkers, actually
Mason Fisher
Okay mr.cool, you are on a Yea Forums - Television & Film board as well!
We'll just have to wait for the book, oh well! haha

Her getting killed by the night king would have been better. She tried to do her stupid knife trick to find out it's frozen to her hand and then he crushes her throat.
Chase Sullivan
Do you think the only reason they had Arya be the one to do it was; they hoped to stave off the backlash from Dany going mad and being killed by Jon by twitter feminists?
Dylan Allen
>this A 1000x better ending for her than sailing into a sea most likely going to die! haha (The lesbo in the book died doing the same thing.)
This is the crazy world we now live in, so stupid! The main GOT plot is about jon fighting them & in the show at least there is a rivalry been building up for multiple seasons & they completely ruin it for nothing other than bullshit.
Just found this short video which pretty much sums up what I mean in 1 minute! ha youtu.be/YrU1SGDdViY

White Walkers are shown to be worthless twats since S01E01 and Jon was causing a storm in a teacup >cold and ruthless but somehow selective killers, let characters alive just because >explodes into pieces just by touching obsidian or valyrian steel, the later not particularly rare just uncommon, just ask Jaime >when a WW dies its share of the undeads dies >when the Night King dies the entire army dies >not really inhuman in combat, just above average >powers consist of controlling glorified zombies and being immune to fire (even Dany can do that) >can't even walk on water wtf Why should the guys who got killed by Sam Tarly over pure instinct not be killed by a trained assassin like Arya?
Robert Jenkins
Jon did fucking nothing this season, the most significant thing he did was kill Dany. Albeit a big move, he still should have done more
>valyrian steel, the later not particularly rare just uncommon, just ask Jaime Valyrian steel is extremely rare to find. There are at the start of the books like 10 weapons made of it in the entire known world. Tywin is obsessed with getting his hands on one of them since the Lannisters lost their Valyrian sword and only manages to get two by melting the Stark's sword. You're right about everything else though.
>They fucking ruined the entire Jon story line for what? Just to make a "badass" female character.
I think what bugs me about this and gives credence to your statement, in my view of things anyway. Is that this season and the end of last season they seem to have forgotten about all the assassin/many faced god training she had before that and just made her a, I don't know, a high dex build fencing master. And you're complaining about this one specific thing but most of the final season was just not thought out in my opinion. I kind of don't have a problem with Arya being a badass I was just hoping for something more along the lines of calculated killer. Arya taking off the face of Cersi's chamber maid or some shit before killing her. But instead you know just look at these cool moves. That's what I was disappointed by, among other things.
What are you on about the show writers said they changed it from being jon to Arya to be progressive, you think it completely fine to ruin a multiple season story arc just put in a "Powerful women saying the day!" bit in?
Yay could of had her kill cersi & then Jamie walks in, arya beats Jamie but doesn't kill him, gives Jamie as prisoner to Daenerys; Daenerys makes a speech about how he killed her father & then burns Jamie alive (making the audience hate Daenerys) & the rest could of stayed the same.
Dylan Rivera
I can't believe how badly they betrayed his character and where the story was going. Fucking hacks.

Why's everything so political? Can't we just have fun?
