i'm increasingly leaning toward the theory that Chuck wasn't really Chuck that episode. Seems a stretch, but he really didn't act like his normal self. I'm starting to think it was the empty impersonating him.
everything seemed weird that episode. dean and sam were brazenly defiant against him. dean smashed his guitar and of course sam fucking shot him. it's almost like they had some sense that things weren't right

as an aside, it's was impressive how supernatural created the IT company "Mirror Universe" in the finale. the created logos, etc. made it seem very real. i've always been impressed with the details in the show, like how they have their own beer brand and porno magazine that don't exist irl. oh and also the All Saints Day horror series in "mint condition"
