Nice autistic bait. Feel free to throw yourself infront of a speed train while this thread dies. Later.

Kill yourself you faggot zoomer.

it being corny makes it good. It's funny as fuck

It was decent for the time being. Better than any mcu onion movie
Spiderman 2 was vastly overrated, think it's cause every incel relates to the, "Why won't Mary Jane go out with the pizza boy me who just got fired instead of the chad astronaut?"

There's no need to be a contrarian for the sake of attention, OP.

t. 90s born queer

It’s intentional it’s a very meta movie like robocop

Nice response you fuckin jerkoff

You are right, it's fucking corny.
S2>S3>S1
When Aunt May is praying and the Goblin attacks while she keeps praying dramatically in her now burning house made me lose my shit.
They are still better than current year capeshit, though.
Except for Spiderverse.

Couldn't handle all the redpills that Raimi dropped?

What a shit opinion

Most of the MCU films will be far more dated 17 years from now than Spiderman is today.

Rudyard Kipling called it the White Man's Burden

>WAAAAAH Where's my quips?

Still better than any nuSpider-man movie

New Spidey is a queer so it evens out

That's a cute post, did your husband type it for you?

Why didn't Spider Man stop 9/11 guys?

>the vicious tenacity of that final fight between peter and the goblin

>the invigorating euphoric rush of, for the first tangible time, seeing a superhero completely vulnerable with pieces of his suit literally torn off

>you’re in the theater in 2002 and william dafoe’s petrifying laugh is filling every iota of space in the theater

>peter’s utter perseverance in spite of osborn’s vows of violence towards his loved ones

>right when the goblin is about to deliver the final blow spidey intercepts his near-fatal conclusion and tips the entire situation

>the music swells by a score from danny elfman

>osborn pleads for his life and right when it appears that peter won the battle for norman’s soul against the goblin his spidey senses tingle and inform him otherwise

>the tragedy of the situation overwhelms peter and his victory is met with sadness instead of the usual expected visual triumph

There is no better superhero film.

do you think the corniness was lost on the filmmakers? are you familiar with raimi's previous work? this scene from 2 epitomizes the perfect balance they have between sincerity and humour. youtube.com/watch?v=nL8hVXSDmNM
it's a shame everything has to be undercut with self aware ironic quips now. can't just revel in something corny, you have to make sure everyone in the audience knows you're in on the joke, as if there's any pretense that these fucking comic book superheroes aren't inherently silly.
it's also why of all the problems you could have with spider-man 3, the emo peter parker scenes shouldn't factor in. they're ridiculous and hilarious and they're meant to be.

raimi really was ahead of his time

He had more fun watching it.

it's so fucking good, i love the silence as you just hear peter shouting in agony
god it sucks that the received wisdom became that tom holland is the 'correct' take on spider-man. fuck that shit. boring mcu shit with no real heard to it.

>tom holland is the 'correct' take on spider-man
I would be very close to fist-fighting anybody whom I heard giving this opinion in public. Raimi trilogy isn't amazing, but it's fucking miles better than the other ones

*heart
i love this score too, i wish films still gave me this feeling youtube.com/watch?v=p5UOdYeMGCE

it's not a great movie. it is however one of the greatest super hero movies and easily the best interpretation of spiderman.

No score in the mcu comes close to what Danny Elfman created.

Can someone tell me how to fucking turn off the prompts for suggested videos that happen like 30 seconds before the video ends and completely fuck it up?

it is a great movie

Thanks for the laugh, I can picture all these fat ageing nerds bulging at the veins in rage, spitting Doritos everywhere.

Imagine thinking capeshit shouldn't be corny

its so lovely, unlike the devoid of true real emotions MCU

I remember being kinda shocked at how brutal that final fight was.

Kek

This is the only intelligent opinion.

Holland is the correct age for Spiderman. That's about it. That's the only thing where the recent version is better than Raimi's.

I'm gonna say it. Raimi's Spider-Man has not been topped yet. Spider-Verse and PS4 Spidey come close but if you want definitive Spiderman then this is it.
