Jessica Jones was shit, only made it through one episode. Iron Fist and Luke Cage, lmao no. I started The Defenders tho because I like Daredevil but turned it off almost immediately.

The series will deal each season with the establishment of one of the major noble Houses of Westeros.
Black guy will play Garth Gardener, which means that they're black-washing the entire descendance of all Houses, because he spread his genes everywhere.

I looked up the director and she did two episodes of Banshee and two episodes of Hunted. Those give me a little hope.

I've also seen "Buhhh Night King did nothing" arguments but that's incredibly shortsighted. This show, even though thousands of years in the past wrt GoT, can retcon a lot of awful stuff. They can establish failsafes, magics, and deus ex machinas that would see the White Walkers pesist, even after the Night King falls. They can establish Night King resurrection. Whatever they want and they think will make the fans happy. They're not beholden to awful choices from some other tv show, and in this they can do a lot of world building for a world of conditions like that of after the events of GoT.
I don't necessarily believe all or much of this will be so, but the potential is extremely real.
