>haven't been to the kinoplex in 5 years
>decide to go see John Wick 3
>dialogue is already way too loud
>gunshots are borderline ear-hurting
>quickly download a dB meter on my phone
>gunshots top out at 97dB
Are normalfag's ears so destroyed by clubs and loud music that they need this? Is it going to be 110dB in a few years due to a hearing damage downwards spiral?
Haven't been to the kinoplex in 5 years
Hypersensitivity to loud noises is a sign of autism.
Movies have extreme dynamic range. That's why Blu Rays are so unwatchable. Most do not compress the sound enough that you can understand the dialogs while not have the subwoofer blast out the window panes on every gunfight.

yes I find that people who have an actively club social life are usually hollering everywhere they go
>sounds over 90dB damage your hearing even for just 15 minutes of exposure
>"lol ur just hypersensitive"
>time to pack it in mr. delicate
Because I hate most people at the theaters, I go during the middle of week when college students and kids are in school and I get to hang out with lovely old people who aren't bothered by the sounds. I remember this one group enjoyed the rumble of the bass through their bodies.
Also, why the fuck are you using a phone in a theater, asshole?
Because I wanted to check the sound level and going out to buy a decibelmeter seemed a lot less convenient than whipping out the phone for 30 seconds (probably less) to download the app and measure.
nice excuse faggot
