The JP steel book isn't 4K. It appears to be regular Blu-ray only. So that's part of the reason why the regular JP 4K version costs more than the JP steelbook. But the 4K version also is listed at full list price. Amazon usually tends to discount products.

She's the one who introduced Jim and Jon to the larger world of Gunnm, they were just familiar with the OVA and the first book. Without her they would have made Alita before Avatar, and the story would have been a lot smaller.

Yeah, do we have an official time count for the events of the movie, from Ido picking up Alita's discarded core at the dump to hoisting up the sword and having it glow blue for Nova to see? Because it looks to me like all these wacky shenanigans, violence, falling in love, getting people she just met to fall in love back, or getting them killed, all this wild stuff happens within a week.

I recorded my own 4K rip of Blade Runner 2049 from theaters, too. Very similar situation to Alita. All we had was this terrible Mexican camrip with people getting up and walking around in the foreground and the audio was atrocious and all around an offense to the movie as it should be properly seen. Just like our Alita rip was filled with Chinese ads and basically doesn't even rise to the level of camrip. It's a spamrip.

Anyway I never shared my 4K camrip and I don't regret it. I never even watched it all the way through for myself. It just didn't feel that valuable.
