Best work from these two jews?
Anyone got a soft spot for Burn After Reading?
Coen Bros
Nobody likes Burn After Reading. It's Reddit: The Movie.
I loved Buster Scruggs but No Country for Old Men is probably their best. It's remarkable, and as a major fan of film scores I found the lack of music had great effect.
Joel looks mean as fuck
I like a lot of individual scenes in BaR, Cox's in particular; why the Reddit tag? Too zany for its own good?

Burn After Reading is funny as fuck. You'd have to be a brainlet with no attention span to dislike it.
I own extremely exclusive lake front property in Minnesota and these fags are my neighbors up there. They are cool though, never complained about the constant gunfire at my private shooting range.
No Country, but Barton Fink is my favorite
Please be true. This true user?
Yes it's true, my other neighbor is Warren Buffet.
Barton Fink and Fargo
Inside Llewyn Davis fucking sucked
Thanks for saving me the effort.
>no one has said Blood Simple
Miller's Crossing. You know it's objectively true because it's the ultimate pleb filter, it hasn't been mentioned once ITT and this board is filled with plebs.
>reddit the post
>chief purveyors of slick shaggy dog stories
I actually really like Hail! Caesar
Yes, unironically better than The Big Lebowski
t. Dave Van Ronk
Anyone else kinda dislike or maybe a little more than kinda dislike Raising Arizona? Just me?
The Man Who Wasn't There is their most criminally underrated film
I second this. Miller's crossing is pure kino. The dialogue is outstanding.
Inside Llewyn Davis is my personal pick, but Miller's Crossing is objectively their best on all fronts.
No Country
I love Burn After Reading, too. J.K. Simmons’ reaction to everything is the perfect ending.
YOU'RE SWEET
AS A HONEY BEE
I liked burn after reading but my fave has to be raising arizona.
>Son you got a panty on your head
Inside Llewelyn Davis is my fav. Most people probably dislike it but it’s a great depiction of the folk scene of the early 60s and it has one of Oscar Isaac’s best performances.
Because Blood Simple is nowhere near their best. It’s fantastic, but doesn’t beat a lot of the films they’d go on to make.
Also Burn After Reading is good. Buster Scruggs is mediocre. Felt like the Coens were parodying themselves. It was like a Flanderization of the Coen Brothers.
Rapport
You fucking moron
Nevermind
I honestly feel like squishing the vignettes into a movie was a mistake. Their quality varied drastically and each one should be considered individually.
