I want a James Wan directed Conjuring Spin off about the Samurai armor. Maybe as a farther back period piece. Maybe WW2 Japan? Have the Samurai ghost stalking Japanese or American soldiers?
A hell of a lot more then another damn Annabelle film.
NEED some horror kino to watch tonight lads what's the best you got? also >What have you watched recently and what did you think of it? Below (2002): not straight-up horror, but kino. WW2 sub, shit starts going weird and the state rapidly spirals out of control. Hereditary (2018): a lot like Rosemary's Baby, in some aspects, but I didn't feel it derivative. Enjoyed it a lot. The Mist (2007): good moments but overall a bit disappointed. the epilogue was good, >Favorite horror films overall? In the Mouth of Madness I could list more, but it would take time to consider what I watched.
>a franchise about murderous nazi puppets redpill me on this shit
Nathaniel Fisher
> Below (2002): not straight-up horror, but kino. WW2 sub, shit starts going weird and the state rapidly spirals out of control. Seconded.
I would recommend The Bunker (2001), it's got a similar style, tone & station as Below altho the setting is different. Cover art is lame (movie is MUCH more subtle then the cover makes it look), but it's damn good.
i love the movies where ghost hunters go and look for ghosts, find ghosts and then all die. Can't think of any specific favorites aside from the classics everybody knows.
Have a special place in my heart for giallo and chinese jumping vampire movies.
Jayden Gutierrez
If you haven't check out The Innkeepers (2011). I would avoid trailers tho.

For me, in terms of Hammer horror, it's
Dracula (1958) Twins of Evil (1971) The Curse of Frankenstein (1957) Captain Kronos - Vampire Hunter (1974) The Hound of the Baskervilles (1959) The Gorgon (1964) The Mummy (1959) The Reptile (1966)
I've been blowing through vampire/werewolf movies lately with a few others Get Out=was alright Black Christmas=Came for Olivia Hussey, stayed before the atmosphere. The Shallows=Kinda dragged Vampire's Kiss=Not great but is prime cage Let the Right One In= Pretty good, not what I was expecting. Late Phases=Recommeded by a friend, surprisingly good.
Going to start Teen Wolf and An American Werewolf in London this weekend.

i haven't seen the show yet, but i liked What We Do In The Shadows Yea Forums likes it/hatesit/reddit, so you might want to check it out it's pretty funny
I'm 5 episodes into season 2 of Twin Peaks and my interest has plummeted. Went ahead and read spoilers for the rest of the season and now I'm only watching for the Black Lodge stuff. So many story lines I couldn't care less about. Please tell me season 3 is better than season 2. And do I NEED to watch Fire Walk With Me?
I don't understand this clamoring for yet another Friday the 13th film. What more could you possibly do with this series while still staying true to its formula?

I remember the shock and terror I felt as a kid watching that for the first time.
Jason is slashing his way across the new Earth he landed on at the end of the first film when suddenly the planet comes under attack by a confederacy of alien races. It's going to take all of Jason's courage, mettle and skill to battle through hordes of xeno scum and save humanity from the alien invaders so that he can then murder them himself. Spaceship chases, laser shootouts, and yes, maybe even love - these are all things Jason will find in his quest to save and then kill mankind.
Also there are clones of the hot girl whose face he froze and smashed in the first movie for some reason (if the actress is still hot)
Daniel Peterson
(1) One that takes place in a Blizzard.
(2) A direct sequel to 2009 focused in swat & bounty hunters combing the woods for Jason to change it up from the normal teens getting slaughtered.
Adapt some of these novels particularly Hell Lake and Carnival (a upcoming fan film Jason Rising is bringing back Pamela like Carnival did) Lake would need a bigger budget tho.
You need to watch FWWM for The Return. Really, you just need to see who killed Laura then skip to the last ep of S2, then watch FWWM and S3. Honestly, you could have skipped the whole '90s show and just watched the film and 2017 show for maximum kino.
imo most of the parts of s3 actually set in Twin Peaks are kinda less good than the Dougie Jones and Mr. C stuff
Adrian Young
Good list. My top 5:
>Curse of the Werewolf >Devil Rides Out >Hound of the Baskervilles >Frankenstein Created Woman >Brides of Dracula
Same but I forced myself to ep. 15 (?). I can't even remember.

I don't know how the hell I'm going to make it to the last episode if I'm already feeling burned out at episode 5. Is there a list of key episodes to watch for season 2?
For me, it's Kristen Baker from Part 2. I wanted to get into the Conjuring series, just watched the first one a couple days ago. Pretty good, might start up Annabelle tonight. Also I loved more than I thought was going to, really looking forward to the Halloween sequel.
Just watched Hereditary alone at night in my apartment, which I don't normally do because I'm a pussy. Was pretty decent. I enjoyed the story's turn towards the occult. The scene with Charly and Peter in the car was pretty wow.
Finished watching all three seasons of twin peaks recently. That was my first real taste of Lynch and I loved it. Great ride. Great characters.
> (1) Allyson becomes a killer copying Myers outfit/mask.
> (2) Allyson becomes a killer with a original persona/design.
> (3) Myers is badly burnt in the basement but the fire department puts the fire out quick enough to save him.
> (4) Myers escapes the basement through realistic means (part of the ceiling/wall collapses from the fire allowing him to escape?)
> (5) Myers escapes the basement through supernatural physical strength (breaks the hinge/lock on the bars with his bare hands?)
> (6) Myers escapes the basement through unexplained means (when the fire is put out, the bars are still in place and the structure of the basement is intact but Myers body isn't in it)
> (7) Myers body is found burnt to a crisp in the basement completely dead but he returns as a physically manifesting phantom/ghost like Candyman or Victor Crowley.
> (8) Myers is dead but there is a copycat killer on the loose that isn't Allyson.
yeah i made sure it was that one before buying it although i do like the original
Dominic Stewart
>(1) Allyson becomes a killer copying Myers outfit/mask. I'd be all for it since they tease something like it throughout the series but never follow through.
