What's it about?

The Society follows the story of a group of teenagers who struggle to survive after they're mysteriously transported to a facsimile of their hometown with no trace of their parents.

Yes but do they live in a society?
society, duh
Teenagers are the only ones left in their town and all exiting roads and railways have been overgrown with forest. Basically about to keep order and survival as their own society
New version of The Tribe?
So it's Lord of the Flies but with a different setting. Good job Netflix!
>HURR DURR TEENAGERS ARE THE REAL GENIUSES OF SOCIETY
>LOWER THE VOTING AGE NOW!
Kek
These teenagers cause anarchy and chaos pretty quickly in their society. If anything, increase the voting age.
>millenial trash
>surviving half a day without Orange Mocca frappuccinnos and Big Daddy's government dick rammed deep into their throats
My suspension of disbelief ends at space bugs and capeshit.
not diverse enough
just finished episode 3 and I still can't get over the fact that they willingly put a gay deaf guy on the show
the scenes where they use the sign language to communicate with each other are boring and awkward
>fucking netflix show
>cringy remixed lorde music
>a bunch of 20-30 year old c-list target clothing models that can't act are now the primary set pieces of a... quasi-political drama? gay hunger games-esque dystopian romance?
>"mysteriously transported," as in, it won't ever matter or be explained further
>"the society"
why do you guys punish yourselves with watching these garbage shows?
>months without maintenance or supply
>all utilities still in perfect working order across the city
Based.
They have infinite supplies. Somehow this town hasn't run out of alcohol or coffee despite everyone in town being serial drinkers.
So there's no real external conflict other than a handful of the "evil teens" wanting whatever insignificant power exists in this vacuum and deciding they want to try and "take it by force?" No problems with food, shelter, wild animals, water, the elements? What is even the point of this autistic ass show, watching a bunch of literally gay mutts make out and cry for 30 minutes every week?
One time the lights flickered. That was the end of it.
What an unique premise
...live in the society?
Bottom text
It's really depressing that every single piece of Young Adult media is is utter trash, save maybe for the Harry Potter books (but that's more parts fantasy than YA).
It's puzzling because it wouldn't be that particularly challenging to write something compelling about teenagers.
When will we get the YA kino we deserve?
Agreed. Really looking forward for Season 2. Shits gonna get really fucked up when they ran out of resources (supposedly with current supplies, they'll be running out by winter)
>same nigger shilling this faggot garbage everyday
unreal
Isn't this shit just The Tribe?
>growing up and taking on adult responsibility is so alien to today's youth it has to be framed in a science fiction dystopia
based millenial parenting
>angsty teen fiction has to appeal to angsty teens
Woah
No there is a pretty big plot point about finding land to farm because the ressources are done for.
In a mind of millenial, things like utilities just happen to exist.
Kek, so the writers were unable to overcome the thought of possibility that these things just aren't available.
