Bobby was a poor earner, wasnt he? He's just a dumbass underachiever aggressively trying to hide under the radar, every scene he's in its like I want to slap him for hanging out in Tony's houses and barely participating while acting like he's completely clear
Really liked Sopranos Home Movies for bringing that to a head. Or maybe thats when it was introduced idr lol

Bullshit , i wanna see the moves

It's the ambitious ones that end up dead, keeping your head down is the smart move

Is there any evidence he did this out of intelligence, or was he just a hamburger man?

What was his endgame?

I got the impression that he only joined because that's the world he grew up in and was all he knew, his father was the #1 button man for the DiMeo family. He was clearly more interested in his hobbies, his wife, and of course eating.

It seems like he was just a factotum for the family

Yeah, which was weak for a made man. He's like some ancillary employee in charge of nothing in particular, just filling in where others dont want to be

He was a good enough earner. Only thing he messed up was getting punked by black kids but he still met his quota, meaning he was valuable. He was also valuable in bringing back Chris and Paulie to safety during the Pine Barrens incident. And has a long history with the Sopranos, eventually becoming Tony’s brother-in-law, paving a way to Underboss. Bobby as the heir was thought up by Tony because he knew that Vito Spatafore was trying to pocket the 200,000 that was coming her way when Tony was in a coma. Bobby is loyal enough to the Sopranos to prevent something like that from happening. Bobby proved to be a good earner too when in Walk Like A Man he is the one bringing up the multi-million proposition to Tony. Bobby was a good underboss

positively based choice

People say I'm like Larry David but I don't agree
I'm not and old Jew
