This was kino, fuck you.
This was kino, fuck you
Sean Connery carried a double rifle and a lever gat. Of course it was kino.
Connery and la femme nikita, as well as dr.jekkyl carried the film
Yes it was. Colonial Sean Connery was awesome. The scenes where he was teaching the younger guy to shoot were amazing. "Just take your time. You've got all the time in the world..."
Quality quads for a quality post.
Real kino coming through.
it was so bad it made sean connery quit acting forever
YOURE THE MAN NOW DOG
that's what people who haven't watched it say
I kinda hate to say it but every damn time it's on tv I keep watching. It's a very enjoyable and entertaining mess.
Why wasn't the Invisible Man a serial rapist like in the source material?
>93% Rotten Tomatoes score
>1.2b at the box office
Great movie! I have the blu ray and watch it once in a while!
I actually got into a heated debate about this with somebody in high school (he had a Reddit account and hated it).
I remember thinking League and Van Helsing were part of a cinematic universe because of Mr. Hyde (I hadn't watched Van Helsing at the time)
>they didnt they even use any makeup or effects on stratham
he's such a monkey
>friend tells me about this film where a vampiric Mina Harker, Quatermain, Dorian Grey, the Invisible Man, Captain Nemo, Doctor Jekyll/Hyde and Tom Sawyer team up to stop a madman
>think hes bullshiting
>see it, becomes one my favorite adventure films
>find out its universally panned
The fuck is wrong with people. This film was incredible.
It's a ton of fun, not great cinema but never deserved the hate it got.
Even worse than Connery retiring over it is it totally ruining the directors career. He did a great job with this and Blade, truly a shame we never got to see more from him.
Connery didn't quit acting because of the quality of the movie, he quit because the production of the movie was a huge stressful mess.
I like the movie but it has some problems. It's definitely not awful though.
Who said it wasnt retard?
critics and plebs
a 5.8 on imdb is not that bad when redditors like to pretend it's one of the worst movies ever made
I imagine it was more the realities of cgi, pretty much all the older actors despise that shit.
