It's a rip off of a comic already done called Irredeemable. It's basically a "what if" scenario that superman just decides to say, "fuck you humanity I'm going to become emperor of all you dipshits."

He's just trying to add a "twist" by making the MC a kid to hide the hack job.

he wasn't human, which is a very obvious and important thing that critics like Grace Randolph are ignoring. That entire stupid little wasp metaphor from the beginning was to drive home that he only looked human, but that to him humans were a totally separate, inferior species. I think part of what was sexually exciting for him was eviscerating humans, since he'd dissected his crush's mom in the crawlspace where the spaceship was hidden. I think he might've jerked off while doing that.

If you like this you'll love the book. The superheroes forcibly take over the entire planet, but are plagued by Islamic and Christian terrorism and massive societal upheaval. It's pretty interesting.
