How powerful do you think he is if he’s above the High Table?

How powerful do you think he is if he’s above the High Table?

he's not above the High Table he sits on the High Table

He isn't above it, though.

Isn't that...above the table though?

John refers to him as the one who “sits above the High Table”.

the state of the entire last hour of that movie

I walked out when I saw morpheus's fatass survived getting sliced 7 times

He just seems like any other arab terrorist, and this is who's running everything? lol

*instantly betrays him*

To be fair, that's a lot of fat to cut through.

He probably isn't legitimately above the high table, he's likely a front they use to create an impossible figure who can't be killed and who rules over all from an unidentifiable location. Even meeting with him and getting deals from him is probably a rare thing done to prove his existence and to handle special cases like Wick whose myth will spread his own If there is such a special elder he'll be in a bunker somewhere.

>Expect some old wise dude
>Just a random arab
Disappointing.

literally just got bcak from seeing this. Why even include the (((elder))) at all? what significance did he even have to the plot when the deal he made with john didnt stop people from trying to kill him and then john doesnt even go through with it and they pretend to kill him off anyways

SOURCE? I need a man like that!!!!!!!!!!

you already knew he wasnt dead tho. They said that he would live if he swore fealty to the high table and he did but he was still punished

an excuse to get a change of scenery from new york

What really bothers me is, if you count the times he gets cut, it's only 6.

you walked out at the literal end of the movie?

Gotta save the seventh for when he dies in the next movie.

It's a part of John's character development. He cuts off his own ring finger so he can live to remember his life but ends up realizing that he'd rather die as his own man than continue being a tool

Plus it sets up the final antagonist

>Hi, I’m the shittiest assassin in all the movies.

That's what I counted, but I just thought I might have missed one

I laughed when he brought out a table and I thought it literally was THE table they were all talking about.
Yes, I know "muh table" is just a concept and not an actual thing but the whole scene with this mystery arab was absurd enough already.

I hope he survives

I think you mean the best

Is the scene where he and his ninjas attack the opera house uploaded anywhere

>Assassins emerge from the shadows upstage during ballet practice
pretty kino

Nigga what? He had the most personality out of all of John Wick's end bosses.
>John Wick 1
Generic Russian.
>John Wick 2
Generic Italian.
>John Wick 3
Yul Brynner cosplayer who Dreams of Sushi and writes John Wick slash fiction online. Also has a decent one-on-one fight against Wick. Pretty funny too, when he finally speaks.

He’s a weeaboo fanboy.

So will Winston die first or last in John Wick 4?

rude

no they didnt. they never said that
she told him he had seven days to get his affairs in order and find a home for his pidgeons
he was never intended to survive

not at all
it will turn out to be a long con cooked up by jon and winston to kill the high table. he will then turn around and lead it
making john protected at the highest level so he can go live in peace

>The Pest didn't make at least a cameo

this movie is stinky dinky

I was hoping that they made the assasins fight like the ninjas from "ninja assasins"

the movie is already over the top anyway so it won't look silly
