Does anyone truly like anything he's done Sure..he's critically and financially rated but thats all marketing >alines - he took a solid creepy movie and turned the sequel into Marines in space shitting all over the original to make an action flick
>T2 sane thing. Took an existing series which was lowfi and interesting and made it ActION! Flick just to make money.. its a good film but not a patch on the original
>Titanic took historic fiction and made light of it and stupid Irtish people to make a movie not focussing on the 1000s of people who died but one spoilled fat girl who liives
>the rock. His most original movie. Looked God and seemed cool at the time but its borderline racist against Scottish people and is horribly act from Nicolas cage
>Avatar. A big tricko get people into the theatre. All spectatcle it was dances with wolves All over again making light of indigmon people just for a movie
And now what in 2020 Another terminator movie.. Another avatar movie
> terminator was a rip off from a twilight zone episode and the short story "The Soldier. >Aliens was just "lets turn Alien into a fucking videogame" yeah this guy is a mega-hack
I can't wrap my mind around James Cameron fans. Are they being ironic? They seem to be apolitical asexual perma-10-years-olds whose religion is the spectacle of big budget blockbusters? ?? I don't get it
oh right, it's tripfags, so it's just mentally ill people doing nonsense shit then. good to know.
Ayden Carter
Technically pioneering. Problem with him is that his movies are technically pioneering when they are released, but 10 years down the line when it’s industry standard his movies narratively don’t really stand up. Certainly after T2. Probably the most powerful director that has ever lived after Titanic & especially after Avatar. He could have made anything he wanted & he’s wasted it on Pocahontas in space.
