It's possible these shows will make decent enough ratings, but you have to account that GOT requires a lot of CGI and other practical effectss and sets. It's gonna be costly, regardless of the ratings. I myself see none of these shows being successful and most of them cancelled.
What HBO should have done is put all of their eggs in one basket - pick a show based on Westeros, hyped it to be the next GOT (not an irrelevant spin-off or anything like that, but an actual spiritual sequel in terms of size, so to speak.), promote the shit out of it and invest a ton of money into it. That way they can create their own capeshit universe with GOT. But they're retarded, they're spreading this way too thin for it to work. People tuned into Game of Thrones because the first several seasons were both high-quality and shocking - Game of Thrones was breaking new ground.
