Eh not really, apparently his new film is not that good.

Bunch of butthurt plebs out there that absolute hate him for no reason.

I feel bad for him.

Why?

This includes letterboxd ratings, people often rate without seeing films.

That absolute Korean domination.

Oh no...

just another film school punk who thinks he's Cassavetes
uninteresting white guy with nothing to say

How have you disabled the letterboxd ratings on that site? Also fuck Dolan and Desplechin. Desplechin is in competition just because he is French.

Only because the french are pretentious tastlets.

Click on the score, details menu will appear on the right. You can filter letterboxd there.

Thanks.

>last year
>absolute Asian domination
>this year
>Asian domination

Asian film is trash though.

No.

It's honestly so satisfying to see Bacurau crash and burn. Leftist dipshits here in Brazil keep shilling that shit all the time "oooh it's been nominated for the Cannes" fuck off

Bacurau actually has pretty decent ratings. Also didn't your government just cut like 25% of the money which were supposed to go to education? And wasn't there something about police killing some leftist politician or some shit like that? Kleber Mendonça Filho talked about bad political situation in 2016, when he made Aquarius which was good. Brazilian government sent some garbage movie as a submission for oscars just because Aquarius criticized some aspects of life in Brazil. Which is quite retarded and just proves that he was right about some things or that they are really thin skinned and can't take any criticism.
