Why the fuck would they adapt the first three episodes and not the entirety of Part 1? That’s absurd. Nothing unusual for the series standards even happens until Hamon is introduced, no one would watch this.

As everyone already said, the first 3 episodes are already paced and structured like a film so it wouldn't require much adjusting. Cramming the whole arc into 2 hours would completely fuck up its pacing. Like entirely.
