Blacked

i couldn't check previous thread for it, lost internet for a bit so came to this one instead.

pill me again on dany supposedly not being barren and potentially having a child, what did i miss? there was foreshadowing and mother's day cards made with her on them?

Why the fuck is Gendry perfectly ok wtih Jon killing the Queen who basically ensured he won't be eating rats in a fucking shit hole for the rest of his life and basically named him her heir?

Attached: 1558482884329.gif (300x303, 2.98M)

He was a good man and his last charge was badass

Why on earth did he break the vow

Because the day Robert attacked Kingslanding the bells were ringing hard, so that marked her forever and triggered a response in episode 5

>pill me again on dany supposedly not being barren and potentially having a child, what did i miss?

Supposedly, that was a plot D&D had written for this season. So she would have the child before Jon kills her, and Jon acts as regent over the baby.

Can someone please explain to me why the spin-offs aren't based off the most obviously profitable settings?
>Robert's Rebellion
Many characters who the main audience already knows.
>Dunk & Egg
Has actual source-material and would get the bookfag audience.

>there was foreshadowing

A bunch, Jon even said "how do you know for sure the witch wasn't lying?"

Because "muh emotions".
Robb is a fucking pussy. He could have even had a Frey girl with a better ass if all he wanted was ass.

>Because the day Robert attacked Kingslanding the bells were ringing hard, so that marked her forever and triggered a response in episode 5

Source?

Season 7 made mention of it a few times - indirectly through Jorah and Jon discussing his kids and Jon questioning her about it, and more directly through them fucking on the boat. People reasonably assumed it was setup for something and it never paid off.

Attached: doitforher.jpg (1280x914, 261K)

>People reasonably assumed it was setup for something and it never paid off.

Kinda like Varys letters

Attached: 1558546028125.jpg (970x542, 84K)

Yeah dunk and egg would be comfy 3 seasons i think.

Was it really impossible to give this series (if it's ever finished lol) a proper faithful adaptation in live action?

STOP DOING THIS SHIT

Can we all admit they two characters had their arcs raped the most by D&D?

makes a lot more sense now, the scenes are coming back to me a bit. my question is, how can d&d be so fucking retarded as to fuck up such blatant foreshadowing? they demonstrated they're capable of understanding that concept, they did it constantly in season 8.

why couldn't they see the previous signs and give us what we deserved, dammit?

I'm watching old GoT scenes and it's fucking saddening how shit the show has become compared to early seasons.

youtube.com/watch?v=O8ES_ElI6Wg
I mean just check out the dialogue, the acting and the costumes in this scene. Compare it to the shitshow of season 8:

youtube.com/watch?v=tk5hKomP4MA
Now, check out the camera work and dialogue in this scene. It's so good compared to later scenes. At first we have a man approaching a king, who of course stands above him, which is underlined by the angle (looking up to Joffrey from Tywins perspective) and shots like 0:36. But as the exchange continues, it shows who is truly above the other: Tywin is clearly more powerful than Joffrey. See the flames at 1:26: Tywin's flame is a lot bigger than Joffrey's. After Tywin climbs the stairs, the camera angle changes. We mostly see it from Joffreys view now, looking up to Tywin, or, like at 1:42, we look down on Joffrey.

And about a dozen other things, yeah.

Attached: 1558161574620.jpg (640x657, 113K)

...

>Was it really impossible to give this series (if it's ever finished lol) a proper faithful adaptation in live action?

I won't say impossible. I would say D&D being hacks, combined with them not wanting to do like 14 seasons, along with the last two books not being completed lead to this.

Viserys!

My ass. Is not explained, she just goes crazy because

GRRM openly said he is against Robert's Rebellion because everyone knows the story already. Perhaps he is afraid it's going to end up like Star Wars prequels with the Clone Wars. I don't know, maybe one season could work as an intermission between season of the original show.
>S5 & S6 adapts Feast and Dance
>Special 1 season about the rebellion
>S7 can be about original material + George outline. Or if it's possible Winds of Winter.

>why couldn't they see the previous signs and give us what we deserved, dammit?

Sign the petition. It won't do anything other than humiliate D&D, but that's worth it.

She was born on Dragonstone though right?

Attached: regret.jpg (980x557, 123K)

Show Euron is more elegant sharply etched, Book Urine is bloated.

In the books he did it in a moment of weakness while high on opium and thinking he got his little brothers murdered by trusting theon. In the show he did it because he fell in love with le strong independent brown woman smarter than any maester who ran away from home because slavery is bad

i already signed it unfortunately, but you're right.

maybe disney will consider pulling the plug on the two hacks and spare star wars the same fate we've suffered.

Sometimes the best way to let go of the grief is remembering the good times user. This story could end better, but for now it's all we got and George's finished work.

Attached: GoT.jpg (3600x2700, 1.16M)

>GRRM openly said he is against Robert's Rebellion because everyone knows the story already
Meh, that's a shit reason. Everybody knows how Romeo and Juliet ends, doesn't stop the endless plays and adaptations.
And the problem with Star Wars prequels definitely wasn't that everyone already knew the ending.

Cutest psycho!

D&D apparently want to adapt Red Wedding. Noticeable with season 4 /5 quality
seasons 10 onwards = AWOW + filler end

all he did was fuck the loli assassin and get an undeserving promotion, if i recall correctly

>D&D apparently want to adapt Red Wedding.

So why didn't they hand it over to new show runners after that?

>loli

Attached: 1557955051981.jpg (900x1200, 177K)

Show!Stannis is kind of an asshole and villainous from the start. It's not that much of a stretch that all those 'duty & honor' drive is always fueled partly by his own insecurity and desire to be like Robert. To be respected, to get what he wants, to be King. At least from what we see in the show. He is more fanatical or ruthless as well. Problem is how easily he is defeated by the Boltons and how quickly he flips to sacrifices Shireen because of it.

Dany's turn to the dark side is even worse due to how rushed and ridiculous the reasoning behind it (at least from the writer's commentary). Previous episode she risk her life defending the realm against undead creatures, two episodes later she burns kids without mercy. I could buy the whole turning 'mad' attitude. It's just... you need more time to really sell it.

You did this Yea Forums

Attached: Dany stabbed.webm (1920x1080, 1.96M)

Why did you even respond to me? Seriously, what was the point of this post?

>faithful adaptation
>proper adaptation
pick one.

He's popular with bookfags too. Basically the idea that he's going to become lord of storm's end and marry Arya and be what Robert would have been if Lyanna wasn't a dumb slut running off with married men

Because they're cunts. Honestly it was always unreasonable to expect 15 years from this cast, but even one or two more full seasons with competent writers could have done wonders.

So I was researching history to make sense of this shitfest and found this
>Great London fire
>17th century, so much more advanced than ASOIAF
>lasted 5 days, destroyed 1/3rd of the series
>took 50 years to rebuild

Since dragonfire has explosive qualities, it created even more devastation. So how the fuck in the weeks after Dany's death is King's Landing fully operational with seeming no damage to be found?

Are you ready to put Martin under house arrest?

Attached: Screenshot 2019-05-23 05.06.17.png (1067x821, 650K)

I wanted to mention the loli assassin, that's all

Attached: Maise.jpg (960x960, 188K)

she just looks like a child almost constantly to me. maybe it's the actress and not the character, but i've never seen any difference from the early seasons when she was a literal kid. i legitimately panicked when she stripped to fuck gendry, because i thought for 3 seconds hbo had beamed child pornography to millions of people's homes.

come to think of it, she does portray arya's role as well as a kid trying too hard to be badass would.

did mister lewis encourage ned to go south in the books too? what an asshole. he must have known the implications full well.

Attached: larges1-ep1-people-profilepic-luwin-maester-800x800.jpg (800x800, 87K)

>Basically the idea that he's going to become lord of storm's end and marry Arya and be what Robert would have been if Lyanna wasn't a dumb slut running off with married men

I think that will happen, but it will be over two books of him rallying the stormland bannermen to his cause and become a William the conquer like figure.

D&D should have cut out the shit they didn't want to adapt.
>no Bran, Rickon, Reeds, children, etc
>no long night
>no Stannis and Renly
>no Myrcella and Dorne
Want crazy Dany? Adapt Aegon. Or, keep Tommen and Margaery. Literally anyone who the nobility of Westeros would support over Dany. Because Cersei ain't it.

>He's popular with bookfags too.

No he isn't and no bookbro thinks he's going to be lord of storms end you dumb cunt, lol. GRRM goes out of his way to show how much bastards are hated, especially baseborn bastards. Maybe you're stupid as hell and are confusing him with Edric, who is acknowledged and highborn. But that would be pretty weird to confuse two wildly different characters if you actually read the books...

Attached: received_2447917722109056.jpg (1242x2208, 103K)

>season 5 /6 = AFFC
>season 7/8/9 = ADWD
Isn't this stretching the story a bit too much? I think 10 seasons are more reasonable.

>S1 - AGOT
>S2 - ACOK
>S3 - ASOS
>S4 - ASOS
>S5 - AFFC + ADWD
>S6 - AFFC + ADWD
Let's say put a filler season here about Robert's Rebellion to please everyone while the writers figure out the next step of the masterplan
>S7 - Winds of Winter (ideally) + original material
>S8 - Winds of Winter (ideally) + original material
>S9 - Original material
>S10 - Original material + George ending

Ideally they should wait all the books to be finished first. But what do you know.

based

they can't afford to wait on the books to be finished because fatfuck grrm will die before the series ends.

that said, that's not anyone's fault but george the hutt himself, since he's being a lazy cunt and is taking decades to finish what should have been worked on when the first season or two got popular.

remember affc and adwd take place over roughly the same time period
so this user makes more sense

>trusting the guy who can't contain the nuclear reactor issue because muh socialism never wrong
>trusting the guy who let the PM of UK fucks a pig

Attached: 1 WIxbimil9ryb7rVukozUvA.jpg (1200x801, 196K)

Well, that's not going to happen, showfag pretender. The stormlands are currently being pacified by the Golden Company and Gendry is with the brotherhood. Gendry isn't, never was and never will be important.

Why is Brienne being a virgin some kind of embarrassing secret? Didn't Jaime lose his hand defending her maidenhood? Isn't a noble lady being a virgin a good thing?
What was the point of Bronn leaving behind his huge bag of gold to risk his life saving Jaime if he was just going to teleport to Winterfell and threaten to murder him? Why and how did his request for Highgarden get honoured?
Why is Daenerys upset at the North and saying she fought "their" war for them? She would have had to fight them anyway, and if the North lost it would be with twice their numbers.
Why was the Long Night just a sidequest?
Why are Arya's level 60 rogue powers so inconsistent?
Why did Jon tell the secret about his lineage to Sansa? Ned Stark kept that secret to his grave, even from his wife, and trashed his own reputation for it. He clearly didn't want to betray Dany so what was the purpose?
How did the Unsullied and Dothraki keep getting reinforced after being wiped out a bunch of times?
Why and how did Grey Worm have any political clout?
What is even keeping Jon in exile?
Why is every kingdom just okay with the North seceding in a single line of dialogue?
Is "The Broken" really the name you're going with? Is Bran's greatest claim to fame being pushed out of a window when he was 10?
Why are the Wildlings going back beyond the Wall? Why aren't they just settling in Brandon's Gift? The Walkers are gone, but every generation of Wildling has been seeking a better life down south because beyond the Wall is a horrible icelandic hellhole even without zombies, right?

Attached: come on boy.png (128x99, 21K)

>Why is Brienne being a virgin some kind of embarrassing secret? Didn't Jaime lose his hand defending her maidenhood? Isn't a noble lady being a virgin a good thing?
D&D kind of forget about it. Everyone treats their trauma as a joke in the drinking scene.

>The Walkers are gone, but every generation of Wildling has been seeking a better life down south because beyond the Wall is a horrible icelandic hellhole even without zombies, right?
'Muh tradition!'
Also Jon realizes that wildling pussy>dragon pussy.

>Why was the Long Night just a sidequest?
Terrible writing. Nothing to defend it honestly. Even Maisie Williams thought it was an awful idea until D&D convinces her to do it.

>tfw can't find the old Dany's bad blood copypasta
Shame, the last two episodes seemed to have been based on it.

>Is Bran's greatest claim to fame being pushed out of a window when he was 10?
I mean, what else has he done?

>Even fucking Ramsay can count to twenty
>Twenty goodmen were really a thousand ggod men

>Jewish Trick

>Revealing Jon's parentage
>Causing an ever widening gap/tension between House Stark and Daenerys
Chaos is a ladder indeed and Bran The All Seeing is the best climber of them all. This has been foreshadowed all the way back to S1. What was Bran's hobby? That's right: climbing! And so climb the chaos ladder he did.

>Summers that last years, winters that last a generation

Was GRRM referring to the pace of his writing?

Are we in the middle of his long winter?

>Why is Brienne being a virgin some kind of embarrassing secret?

D&D kinda forgot modern norms don't apply to the middle ages.

>Didn't Jaime lose his hand defending her maidenhood?

D&D kinda forgot about that.

>Isn't a noble lady being a virgin a good thing?

D&D kinda forgot about that.

>What was the point of Bronn leaving behind his huge bag of gold to risk his life saving Jaime if he was just going to teleport to Winterfell and threaten to murder him?

Bron kinda forgot he had a huge bag of gold.

>Why and how did his request for Highgarden get honoured?

D&D kinda forgot about the Tyrell cousins.

>Why is Daenerys upset at the North and saying she fought "their" war for them? She would have had to fight them anyway, and if the North lost it would be with twice their numbers.

Daenerys kinda forgot the North sided with her to defeat the White Walkers and Lannisters.

>Why was the Long Night just a sidequest?

D&D kinda forgot the show was building up to it for eight seasons.

>Why and how did his request for Highgarden get honoured?
A Lannister always repays their debts.
Tyrion is hand and the king does nothing. Tyrion made it happen because it was exchanged for his life.

>tfw Cat saw his child as a political threat and tried to stop his climb
>tfw Jaime removes Bran as a threat by making him fall
Woah...

Only twenty of those thousand NPC's are really good men. The rest of them are mediocre or awful. Those two guys in the woods that try to beat a wounded Stannis? They are lame as fuck. Definitely not one of the good men.

>How did the Unsullied and Dothraki keep getting reinforced after being wiped out a bunch of times?

Unsullied and Dothraki kinda forgot they got whipped out.

>Why and how did Grey Worm have any political clout?

Grey Worm kinda forgot he was just some warlord.

>What is even keeping Jon in exile?

Jon kinda forgot Grey Worm left Westeros

>Why is every kingdom just okay with the North seceding in a single line of dialogue?

The Seven Kingdoms kinda forgot it was seven.

>then she puts on her "breaker of chains" face and acts the part for her supporters
>greyworm convinces her to kill the remaining lannister soldiers and she goes with it because she no longer has any advisors besides traitor-dipshit tyrion

This is from season 7 isn't it? She was especially pretty there and I can't place why. Maybe it's just from how close her hair falls to her eye.

>she will never smother you with her boobs while sucking your blood with leeches

>"I don't want to make any promises about the release date of TWoW, I have made promises in the past and it has never worked."
>Some time later
>"If TWoW isn't out by August 2020, you can kill me."
What the fuck George?

Daily reminder that Dany warged into Drogon and that's why he spared Jon and torched the throne before fucking off East.

It's the eyebrows, user.

D&D are such hacks

This post was brought to you by a SEETHING danytranny

Low INT

Right, I'm sure Dany and her one dragon really had a shot

from the thumbnail I thought this was Rich Evans

What unites people?
Armies?
Gold?
Flags?
Rape.
There's nothing in the world more powerful than a beautiful rape.
Nothing can stop it.
No enemy can defeat it.
Who is a better rape watching enthusiast than Bran the Voyeur?

YAAAG ZBARROOO

>Jay and Mike talk about Game of Thrones
Why did Daenerys nuke King's Landing? Is she a secret asshole?

But all Valyria was really interested in was increasing slave output, making paved roads, and the dragonlords infighting one another. They conquered most of Essos at one point. But they just had so much territory that all they had left was to go to war with that one bizarre city on Sothoryos or Yi Ti. I don't think world domination was in their books until they could have consolidated power.

But Dany didn't have a chance. Bitch was delusional like all women.

New queen of the Riverlands

In the books, Mirri Maz Duur says that Khal Drogo will be better "when the sun rises in the west and sets in the east, when you bear a living child" implying that it's impossible. Of course, they didn't put this line in the show, but last season decided to make it a plot point anyway.

Daenerys is female Hitler with a (((diversity))) army and a flying nuke breathing animal

She burnt down the city he grew up in.
Probably killed hundreds of people he knew by name.
A better ending would be him caving her skull in himself screaming "TARG FUCKING SHIT" before fucking off west with Arya

>Implying Arya's husband would survive the wedding night
She'd tear his throat out with her teeth

Force HBO to give the rights to japan, so we can get a 10 season anime adaption.

>juuls

Superior house coming through. Make way ya shits.

Attached: GoTLord2-0.jpg (2196x1698, 721K)

is there even an anime out there that has run for 10 seasons and managed to have decent animation quality and writing throughout? not to mention an asoiaf adaptation would need those seasons to be at least 24 episodes each, if not 12 double-length episodes.

Just saw this. August 2020 guys watch out.

did everyone hear the great news?

I get your enemy house, because they are such rotten fuckers. But at the same time I wouldn't want to give those rotten fuckers an excuse to look my direction.

lol, he'll just skip worldcon if it isn't done, he's done this in the past.
you're retarded if you're actually letting yourself get excited for a GRRM deadline after all that's happened.

she could have killed cersei and her soldiers however she wanted. but no, she must burn the small folk because reasons.

Who's going to take one for the team and Annie Wilkes this fat fuck?

Lmao

Valyrian lords weren't united. They were torn apart by petty squabbling and grasping for power. And the people they conquered didn't want them there, because it just meant slavery was coming their way. One Valyrian with a clear vision, no competitors, and small folk who want what she wants, could roll over the entire world better than a squabbling, divided empire of slavers.

I'm really hoping that "diverse cast" are all children of the forest

He looks a bit like a Tully.

>Reminder we still have no idea why she killed everyone.

Setting people on fire turns Dany on. Compare how depressed she was before and how stiff she was around Jon and then after she burnt King's Landing, she was in giddy rape mode.

I will get out the hand cuffs

Kind of want them to be white walkers for the sake of the memes.

>TARG FUCKING SHIT" before fucking off west with Arya

That's what happened, he followed Arya. Eventually they'll go on double dates with Asha and Qarl the Maid.

nobody cares about the books

fucking bong genes

I don't care what anyone thinks, I laughed my ass off at that, but more at it than with it.

Go off king :(

Probably a mix of autistic rage and sending a message to the next people she's coming to "liberate".
>I'm unstoppable and you're better off killing your ruling class before I come to town

Those problem glasses.

And slavery is better than Dany torching your entire city?
And no, even if "the people love her" it still doesn't compare. You simply cannot compare one shitty army and a 5 year old dragon with thousands of hundred year old dragons

do you think they regret casting bran's actor now that they've seen the monstrosity he grew into

Yeah I'm not holding out hope, but you didn't prove me wrong.
You know almost all the children of the forest in the show were played by asian and black chicks, right?

She wasn't in King's Landing when Tywin Lannister sacked it. She was born in Dragonstone and left directly for the free cities.

This is like a fucking joke at this point.
You literally have a less chance of being hired, no matter how talented you are, just because of your race and gender (white male). How can they not see this is hypocrisy?

Imagine being racially insecure. Get a vasectomy already lmao.

I can't believe the Architect got to Lucy.

Dany torching the city was fucked, but it makes the people more likely to not put up a fight. They can't win, and she has no pity. Valyria torched cities too, but the cities they didn't torch, they enslaved, which does make people want to fight anyway. Better to fight and die than become some assholes property. Meanwhile, with Dany it's fight and die vs. no longer be treated like shit by nobility. It's a clear choice.

The Boltons need to be brought to heel. They're a bunch of sadists that think they can avoid conflicts through coercive, brutal measures. I wouldn't have a problem completely eradicating the Bolton house if Daenerys was feeling a bit fiery and blood thirsty.

this is your game of thrones cast tonight

Attached: stunt-doubles.jpg (675x675, 78K)

I still think that Myrcella was the prettiest girl in the show. I was sad when she died because I thought she would fuck Jaime. Wouldn't that make for a good sub plot?

>Genetics
>History of using violence to solve problems
>Fanatical ideologue
>Resentment towards the lannisters
>Resentment towards the people for not supporting her
>Recently watched most of her friends either die, betray her, or distance themselves from her

Anything else?

>bastard
>high born

diversity = anti white they will call full black casts diverse even

Doesn't matter what the choice is. a continent-spanning empire and thousands of dragons didn't do it, and she wouldn't even come close

Literally the best actor on the show.

Ugly tyrion is more fitting

?

think GoT had at least 1 or 2 female directors during the course of its run; maybe even more.

An all black or all white or all whatever cast is no problem if the story requires it, but REQUIRING to hire women and minorities is literally unfair to anyone who's more talented than the one who got hired simply because they have a vagina or different skin color.

massive cuck mutt probably

>where is my boyfriend

Reminder that Emilia is over 30 and single.

Those movies are pure kino with top tier writing.

>An all black or all white or all whatever cast is no problem if the story requires it
Of course, but that's not really the point. We've already seen mostly black casts (Black Panther), and that's usually celebrated as stunning and brave, while a piece of media that's obviously heavily inspired by medieval Europe, is a highly problematic topic that REQUIRES black actors and gay relationships to be included, to even get green lit in the first place.

It's highly political, and that's why i dislike it.

>In the books he did it in a moment of weakness while high on opium

There is really a lot of female on male rape in GoT:

Ygnitte/Jon -- if he doesn't have sex wit her, she'll tell Mance they weren't having sex after all, which was the reason Mance weren't killing Jon

Jeyne/Robb - while he was injured, drugged and out of his mind with grief.

Lysa/Littlefinger, at lease twice while he was injured/drugged/feverish.

>white people vs. white walkers
>"""long""" night over in a couple of hours, all white walkers dead
>diverse case vs. white walkers
>long night stretches for generations, in the end the white walkers threat wasn't even defeated, a magical wall needed to be erect across the entire continent to maintain a stalemate

>>bastard
>>high born

Highborn lady and Highborn lord hook up and had baby out of wedlock.

Versus Lady Lollys's baby after being gangraped by smallfolk (betcha they didn't feel small though, she WAS a maid) or a baby born of a lord and a whore.

Both versions are lame in their own right

I kinda feel bad for Dabid. They signed up for adapting stuff for the fat fuck, not writing it for him too.

>is it out yet?

I don't believe so. I heard it comes out this Sunday.

They signed up knowing full well it was a possibility and discussed it prior to even starting the pilot. By the time interviews for season 3 were happening they sounded confident that it was going to happen.

>everyone gets a happy ending
>except the one person who deserves it the most

Should have stopped the series when they ran out of books desu.

he was brought back so that arya can get a sex scene. it needed to happen since female virgins cant exist

>>diverse case vs. white walkers

White walkers based enough to make the wall higher to keep the diversity from coming North.

Realistically, how the fuck were they supposed to fight the WWs? If the NK just hangs back and doesn't risk his life, they can't lose

>If the NK just hangs back and doesn't risk his life, they can't lose

They have to make the night king stupid to win. Would have been nice if we had some kind of bran / arya tag team to take him out.

What do you mean they did show the red wedding

Oh user.
She got what she deserved alright.

It represents her life of being too ugly to be married off
>Bronn's story

>Why is Daenerys upset at the North and saying she fought "their" war for them?
She's crazy
>Why are Arya's level 60 rogue powers so inconsistent?
Have much experience of being a trained assassin and the limitations that come with it do you?
>Why did Jon tell the secret about his lineage to Sansa?
They had a right to know
>How did the Unsullied and Dothraki keep getting reinforced after being wiped out a bunch of times?
Dany kept reserves away from winterfell. It's really not that difficult. Yea Forums is full of fucking idiots
>Why and how did Grey Worm have any political clout?
He had an army, he now has power, he now has influence.
>What is even keeping Jon in exile?
Jon
>Why is every kingdom just okay with the North seceding in a single line of dialogue?
She said there was 1000's of northmen outside. Yea Forums is full of fucking idiots.
>Is Bran's greatest claim to fame being pushed out of a window when he was 10?
It represents the adversity he's over come
>Why are the Wildlings going back beyond the Wall?
They prefer it. This is no where near a plothole

Are you retarded ? He is saying that dabid wanted to adapt the red wedding first and foremost, and they did not really care for the material after that, which shows in the quality of the show after the red wedding. You dumb nigger.

there are people in this thread right now who didn't protect her smile

Attached: happy.jpg (932x1242, 133K)

They had already shown at hardhome that the white walkers and the NK hang around at the edge of their battles. They could have had a small, elite fighter group sneak past the enemy lines and get a surprise attack on him. Maybe lead by a small assassin who is proficient in sneak missions?

>D&D apparently wanted to adapt Red Wedding
Which is funny, considering how much they fucked up Robb and Cat, and pretty much removed every non-treasonous Northern character, effectively obliterating the emotional punch of it all. The whole scene hinged on your ability to care for a fetus. The directing was shit too.
>have an actor side step into the frame to kill a character

Can I just read all the Dany parts of the books and get her story? I heard like the show they dont touch the boring Westeros politics

>Can I just read all the Dany parts of the books and get her story?

Wait a minute. The House of the Undying vision was in season 2, D&D didn't sit down with George and get the ending and broad strokes until sometime in season 3. So that vision was of their own making and not based on anything George told them. They even admitted in the commentary for that scene that they brought Drogo back because they liked Momoa and that the visions were to tempt Dany to stay. These fucking hacks, they literally retconned that scene to be foreshadowing for Dany's death.

Arya closing eyes was also in season 2, which they also retconned to mean her killing night king which they only admitted they o ly planned for her to do 3 years ago.

ALERT, ALERT, DAENERYS IN THE BOOKS DOES NOT GET KILLED BY JON IN THE THRONE ROOM AFTER GOING CRAZY

has yet to happen. doesn't know he exists

Black Girl Magic.

Reminder in like 60 years from now all of Westeros will be of the Lord of Light religion.

"The Maesters" don't exist in the show, it's just 3-4 old guys in robes who like books and don't believe in magic. No politics, no agenda, nothing

Lol I forgot about this. I can only assume Jon got lost wandering around KL that’s why he got to the speech well after Grey Worm although he left to find her before him.
