The sewage pumps are blocked (useless cross posters from /pol/, Yea Forums Yea Forums or other "big boards" invade the rest of the smaller ones) the number of househoulds is increasing quickly and the new inhabitants are wasting tons of water (the big influx of posters that came with the Trump Redditors and generally speaking with the attention and notoriety this website had gained in the last 4 years) and the whole system collapses, dirty water spills back into the households but the new inhabitants don't notice it, it tastes more or less the same but the older more experienced city dwellers (more refined posters, older, wiser, in a sense intellectual and elitist) leave as they notice that the quality of life has dropped quickly and that the terrible water quality makes you actually sick (the incels and pol posters don't notice this, because they are the ones that infected the water in a sense).

Now, we are at a point where we have to have a massive cleansing because the whole thing is working overtime and can't be cleaned by itself, but nobody is willing to do that.
