There was literally no reason for him not to sell the potions

There was literally no reason for him not to sell the potions.

his potions were only for the strongest

he has the right to sell his shit to whoever he wants, if he even arbitrarily decides to not service a customer, that's his right as a salesman

There were plenty of reasons, he gave the most accurate one for the Knight. it was the knights foolishness to even attempt to buy a potion of such high calibur.

this isn't Yea Forums related, Yea Forums teen
even when it was "new" no one here cared

He's a rascal who has no respect for knights.

He was based and responsible
The traveller was too weak for the potions
The potion seller didn’t want people dying because of their own carelessness

if he gave him potions and the knight died, what then? The knight was too arrogant to think he knew potions better than the potion seller himself

In a perfect world...

And what if he died in battle only because he lacked those potions?

it was still the knight's choice to go into battle. He would know the risk

the potions would kill a dragon. the knight would fucking die if he had his potions.

the potion seller was in the right. his potions were too strong for him. he was looking out for the knight if you think about it. he was being a dick by the end of it, but he can sell to whoever he wants

wtf was the knight doing though?

Obviously the knight was too low level to carry those potions in his inventory. It's his own fault for being a scrub who can't grind.

why was the potion seller selling potions that would kill dragons and people? he didnt have weaker potions, so what was he doing? who is he selling to?

He was a scoundrel with no respect for knights

He had regular potions, but the knight wanted only the strongest ones which he could not handle.

Dragon knights.

He had respect for strength, which the Knight clearly didnt have. If anything he had respect for the knights life by NOT giving him a potion that would surely kill him

They wee far too strong

no he didnt. he said "his potions were too strong", implying he didnt have any potions that wouldnt kill him. and then him saying "you better go to a seller that sells weaker potions"

He was an artisan, crafting the strongest potions his ability would allow. A master of his craft and his potions are wasted on those who dont deserve them

Why is this thread so unfunny? Is this reddit humor?

Your logic applies to your previous question. If the knight chooses to use a potion that could possibly kill him and he knew the risks, it is up to him to make that choice.
The potion seller did what he was morally obligated to do which is warn him, he has no reason to not make money on a sale if the knight wishes to continue to make the purchase.

press ctrl+w to fix it

Yup

broke: potion seller should have given the knight the potion
Woke: potion seller was right all along and knight was a dumbass
B E S P O K E: knight was going into battle against a dragon and needed a potion that could kill a dragon. the potion seller's arrogance meant the knight had to face the dragon unprepared and he failed, and many lives were lost that day

Poo-shun selluh. I’m going into battle and need your strongest poo-shun

I get no respect!

Imagine being such a newfag you don't even recognize the potion seller and knight meme which is a DEACDES old Yea Forums meme at this point.
You think pepe turning into a meme is a reddit creation too you fucking retards?

Of course not, but to sell the traveler potions he knows are too powerful would be the wrong thing to do. The traveler was reckless and the merchant provided him a mercy.

Notice how defensive the mid 2010 tourists get when called out?
Notice how once again this was only spammed on Yea Forums after the reddit invasion
archive.4plebs.org/tv/search/text/R_FQU4KzN7A/order/asc/
and not even once before

This. The potion seller meme is pretty newfaggy.

HE'S GOING INTO BATTLE

>retard gets called out
>w-why are you so defensive bro
sure showed him

Based boomer.
Cringe zoomer.

Your reddit trash has NEVER been part of "old Yea Forums" at all. NEVER
Why would you lie unless you're another post 2011(or even in this case post 2018) redditor?

tripfags are automatically reddit, thank you

I don't get why you newfags even pretend you're part of "old" Yea Forums it's obvious to anyone who isn't a newfag that you're not. You're not fooling anyone why even bother.

It's not a story about hubris, it's a story about how the Knight is reliant on the potions for the battle.

Reddit knows Reddit best.

Why did you lie? Did you think everyone was as new as you are here?

He looks like the guy from that YT channel

Digitom i think it was

Knight was being a pussy trying to rely on magic roids to carry him through battles he clearly wasn't ready for. Fucking poser.

>There was literally no reason for me not to sue him for intoxicate me with the strongest potions.
Go to jail

underrated masterpiece

Cringe

To think that years later, a man playing in front of his webcam would create a debate for the ages

Agreed, but I still think the video is funny

This is a man who has seen countless adventures come and go, often to their death. He knows better than the naïve young knight who thinks he can best his foes with potions alone.

Not a debate, the potion seller was in the right. It’s like a customer wanting to buy a gun and saying he’s going to use it on himself. Also, the strongest potion is a fluke, it’s there as a cautious reminder, imagine a scrawny guy coming to you and asking for some roids so he can do better in fighting. Sure, muscle growth is there, but the skill? The training? The adventurer is trying to compensate his lack of training and determination with a potion. He is essentially skipping an integral part of his hero journey. The adventurer is a scoundrel, the shop keeper is in the right to deny the goods.

What is this from?

He absolutely should refuse sales to weak heroes who might die, he could be found liable.

look up "Potion Seller"

lol shut the fuck up faggot

fuckin nice post
