Revelation Space would make a better movie than Mass Effect. I like Mass Effect, and all, but it doesn't even have an ending. A Mass Effect movie would have to be a re-write of the entire series. I'm also not if there are any movie studios that are willing touch a property which borderline (if not outright) plagiarised its core concept. Whether that's provable, or not, it's a risk, and potentially bad PR. Plus, Alastair Reynolds’ writing has already been proven to be adaptable, with Beyond the Aquila Rift, and Zima Blue.

It isn't really that hard. Half the cast are aliens anyways so facial structure is nowhere near as important as voice. For instance, every time I hear Brandon Keener's voice in FO4 I can't help but think of Garrus. Because motion capture has come so far, I'm inclined to just let the VAs take their jobs back and play the characters live, especially because many of them do have love action experience.

Nah, Hale's line delivery makes it sound like she's trying to be some badass space marine while Meer's make him sound like a normal guy who just so happens to be a badass space marine. I'll do a Femshep play through for a Garrus or Liara romance but Broshep and Tali/Ash/Miranda for any sort of canon run.
