Drawn Together was a bad premise with great writing. the further they got away from the reality show idea, and just did what they wanted to do, the better it got.

I like the show too.
It's just trashy fun. There's no pretentiousness to it, it knows it's never going to be high art, it's schlock, it's heavily sexual, it's slapstick, and it's also got a lot of heart. Like the people behind it put a lot of effort into the show and the writing was usually really good. It's funny, the characters are oddly really fleshed out, plenty of good and bad to them.
It shits the bed at the end sadly. But I feel that's mostly because they just had no idea how to end it well.
