Laughing at Shelley Duvall in The Shining is the biggest pleb filter ever. It's one of the greatest performances of all time. I really never understood how it doesn't scare people. I have been in love with horror since I was 10 and it's the only movie to still give me chills even though I know what's around every corner.

The Innocents. It doesn't have anything to do with Paganism, but it's a very atmospheric psychological horror film where our main characters are isolated in the British countryside.
