kinos like this?
The Wicker Man
The sequel
Saw a trailer for this over the weekend at John Wick 3, looks like a zoomer remake.
The remake
The ride
Is it actually good
Looks boring
read the script, pretty good. basically the same setup as WM but much better
AAAAAAAAAAA NOT THE BEES NOT THE BEEEEEEEEES
The song
>Hereditary director
Fuck no why is he trying to ruin every horror classic?
Script is awful. Too many cringe moments.
Same writer/director. Even has a cameo by Christopher Lee. It's no Wicker Man, but it's decent enough.
What other ones is he trying to ruin?
John Wicker you say?
>Hereditary is a ripoff of Rosemary's Baby
>Said The Shining was a comedy
Explains his attempts at 'horror'
example?
I enjoyed this. It's thoroughly comfy and I wanted to sex all the females on the island
Hot Fuzz kinda
Season 2 of The Sinner a little bit
It's hard to find good cultkino
Apostle
>hereditary was a ripoff of Rosemary's baby
I wasnt big on hereditary but I didn't get that impression at all
Seen it but good choice
Laughing at Shelley Duvall in The Shining is the biggest pleb filter ever. It's one of the greatest performances of all time. I really never understood how it doesn't scare people. I have been in love with horror since I was 10 and it's the only movie to still give me chills even though I know what's around every corner.
You didn't get it with the ending or the mother overacting her ass off?
Apostle I suppose.
I haven't seen Heredity but you think Mia's overacting in Rosemary? kys

Shows the absolute state of people who like this awful American remake.
Many British horror films of the 60s and 70s are quite similar. For me, it's The Blood on Satan's Claw.
Kill List
Quads aside, Apostle is exactly what you would expect from a Netflix original version of Wicker Man.
Horror movies with cults?
The Brood
Children Of The Corn
The Endless, not really horror, but interesting
Kil List is probabyl the closest one and it's pretty good.
It's very average but worth a watch for Dan Stevens and Lucy Boynton.
Based af taste
m.youtube.com
Dan Stevens really carried that movie past the first act
season 2 of the sinner was great, crazy ass hippy cult
This. You won't be disappointed
What are the best and most comfy/atmospheric Christoper Lee movies?
Gremlins 2. Not even memeing
bump
His Inevitable biopic.
Then every single character shat the bed in the third act.
where can I watch this?
You're looking for Folk Horror.
Here's as comprehensive a list of the genre as I've been able to make, including a lot of stuff that gets overlooked:

I liked him becoming the apostle of the god then becoming the new god at the end

thanks senpai
The Karate Kid
Sure man. Some great stuff in there. Check out my other lists too, I explore a lot of rare stuff through the lens of really specific aesthetics, styles, concepts, etc.
I downloaded it from rutracker
at your gfs
I'm looking forward to it since Hereditary was pretty good.
The Innocents. It doesn't have anything to do with Paganism, but it's a very atmospheric psychological horror film where our main characters are isolated in the British countryside.
Underrated
Wonderfull film. Christopher lee and the landlords daughter
The old movie or the new series?
>Laughing at Shelley Duvall
What? It's Jack Nicholson who's funny, not Shelley Duvall.
I'm just amazed how clean and angelic Lucy Boynton looked throughout the entire film, despite everyone else being filthy.
Late, senpai:
that really irritated me, always took me out of it when she was there, even the main star was filthy
My Nigga
Also dat soundtrack
