I think Arya was a legit error and they didn't set out to have her come across so cringy, but after all of that, I dont think Sansa is set up to be anything other than the next villainous evil queen to provide some early conflict in the inevitable Season 9. Danaerys will be a bigger bad, but Salsa will quickly be revealed to be a horrible person. Good Sansa died on her wedding night, which makes the rush through all those events that much more tragic. Her edginess in the last few seasons is just too heavy handed otherwise.

According to Davos, Jaime stealing all the food and then Dany burning it lead to the depopulation of the Reach. Since the Reach is supposed to be the equivalent of medieval France, that means this was millions of deaths. Nobody should give a shit about the few hundred thousand dead in KL, the Jaime/Dany destruction of the Reach should be considered the greatest crime of all time in Westeros.

Having Davos go off on her, and due to the fact her own faith was already shaken, thus leaving her more susceptible to showing her weakness and doubt, it was well put together.
