3>4>1>6>2>5>7>8

3 has Rains of Castamere, that alone makes it the number 1 season

4 is GoT at it's best, still complex writing with more cinematic scenes

1 is, well it's the original that started it all, an intricate tight political thriller, but it's behind the previous two because it's a bit leaner, grittier and not as entertaining as the aforementioned seasons.

6 is where GoT became "Hollywoodized", what with more features of spectacle above political intrigue, but it done, for the most part, very well. The Door and The Winds of Winter alone make it better than the other seasons, honorable mention would be the Battle of the Bastards with Ramsay's death.

2 was a step down from 1 and is riddled with long boring scenes, despite characters having still obvious motivations and depth in contrast to the last two seasons. Also too many fucking Dany scenes, I hate Dany until she goes mad in S8.

5 is pretty good but it surpassed the books and is full of the Dorne plot and the boring High Sparrow shit before they got blown up.

Season 7 is where the writers go into "fuck it" mode and teleporting is everywhere and dialogue is duller, simpler and everything is reduced to shitty fan service and dragons and explosions.

Let's not even talk about 8.

2 have Blackwater though, that alone makes it god tier.

This user knows.

Season five scenes at Caste Black are kino for the first five episodes, right up until Stannis leaves.

The only objective ranking
1>2>3>4>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>trash>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

this but: 7>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>7 at least didnt destroyed characters and mythology of the show, there was still hope after season 7 that finale will give us something satisfying. But NOPE! Season 8 is absolutely disgraceful, they destroyed everything.

3>1>2>4>5=7>8

yes

Fuck I meant 3>1>2>4>6>5=7>8

Final shot should have been of Bran's frost burn glowing. Then a little glint of blue in his eyes.

"Now night king is also day king." Then he wanks at the camera

you suck cock

Thread really should have ended here.

It's possible that with a careful rewatching, certain things that struck out as odd and nonsensical throughout the series were intentionally made that way because they are related to actions of Bran or perhaps the other gods.

Not sure if by accident or by actually planning but this sets a new possible story where Brans is the new villain, I mean, I can totally see a new season where Jon in one of his adventures on the real north discover all kind of secrets about the White Walkers and their origins and discover that Bran is long gone and whoever is the current king is someone or something else, then Jon have to start gathering forces to kill this Bran(Oscuro) and Arya fidning out the way to kill him on the west of westeros, I mean, a good writer could pull it off.
