the closest i could think are a few adaptions of Shakespeare's 'Ceasar', but that is not meant to portray history but instead Shakespeare's adaption of a short bit of the late republic. even Shakespeare took many creative liberties in his play and cut out whole chunks and characters to make the play not 2 days long.
no there really is nothing and until there exists a passionate history fanbase, directors willing to adapt 60ish years of history and a large ass budget even without the glamor that is needed to attract the casuals, there will never exist a historical adaption of the late republic.
like i said look some youtubers, a guy named civics history is currently working on a series of it where all the characters are portrayed as squares, that's as low budget as you can get. my only criticism of him is he really fucking hates cato and never explains much of his motives or beliefs other than "he's an arch conservative". he also doesn't mention a big deal where the romans found it in bad taste when ceasar used his suicide as a joke or how his personal philosophies were truely a needle in the hay stack compared to all his contemporaries. dude can't catch a break. but hey not everything can be perfect, supplemented with research it can be great

For me it stopped being good after the first 3 episodes. The rest is kinda ruined by one element. It's one of those stories that couldn't resist confirming the dread. Knowing something's coming is a lot scarier than it being there.
