Then you start going back to ridiculous shit that happened last season, like the idea of risking their lives to capture a wight just to show Cersei and try and get her support, when it would have been much quicker and easier for Daenerys to raid King's Landing and take it back in a single afternoon. Or how everyone seemed to be able to teleport.
