BAZUNGER

Why did this show make nerds so butthurt? Cut too close?
Remember the endless whining about "nerd blackface"? Now you say it has destroyed culture, just kind of sad

probably because it went to shit when fem-sheldon was introduced and the last 2 seasons were absolute trash

Pottery

It made popular to women what was disgusting for most of them before. Same did Portal with video games. Both of them at 2007.

>admitting to watching the whole thing

It was the worst kind of American humour. Two and a half men tier. Comedy for complete brainlets.

It popularized being a nerd and ruined lot's of hobbies and sub cultures with an influx of normies.

This. People say this show sucked when they got girlfriends, but Penny and Bernadette were always fine. Wolowitz was better once he got a gf. Amy Farrah Fowler was what made me stop watching

No it didn't, it was reflecting on real life at the time, nerds would be mainstream with or without BBT, only boomers really like it

>started the destruction and massification of traditional pop culture at 2007

It wasnt the show who ruined pop culture. It was women. Hell, even the fans of the show believe women ruined their already shitty show when it went from a geek sitcom, to a romance-relationship comedy in s4-s5 to cater to the new women fans.

They ruin even whats supposed to be ruins already!

All non American comedy is retarded slapstick, AWKWARD XD cringe shit or le epic satire

We're in the post ironic Yea Forums era. Just wait a couple years when everyone here goes head over heels for this show.

As a show itself, it started off okay, but fell into the mediocre sitcom trap of "introduced too many characters."

A lot of shows wind up doing this, which ultimately undermines the charisma that the interplay between the characters in early seasons did.

Even Seinfeld did this to a degree, with the introduction of characters like Steinbrenner.

>only boomers really like it
This is not true, true normies, (not reddit tryhard "normies") liked it, even the young ones.

Young sheldon was okay, big bang is shit, fight me

sheldons mom in young sheldon can sit on my face anytime

Dang ol producers and writers said they could have pull it off for at least 2 more seasons But Jim Parsons said no . Something similar happened with Jerry Seinfeld back then right ?

According to many, 2005-07 was the era where everything went to shit because of the start of Web 2.0, social media, johnny test, Ben 10, icrappy, Hannah montana, Big bang theory popularized nerd culture, housing bubble popped, and the Early Gen Z/zoomer kid culture was beginning. What do you think?
