Manson just so happened to be a pimp, who led a group of drug dealers and prostitutes who lived in the middle of nowhere and preached race war to, and decided to try and murder one of the Beach Boys over the song, but the house that he sent his death squad to, turned out to be the home of Sharon Tate. They then murdered a bunch of other people and tried to pin it on blacks to make whites angry, and cause them to retaliate on blacks for murdering so many whites, and this would in turn cause a race war, which Manson and his family would sit out and wait through in the wilderness.
