Why burning the iron throne means nothing

It's a symbol. That's all it ever was. It doesn't get rid of the actual title of "Lord of the Seven Kingdoms and Protector of the Realm."

So there'll still be wars over the position and whatever symbol replaces it. Could be the crown or Bran's wheelchair.

It's Lord of the 6 Kingdoms now shitlord.

it symbolizes the end of the Targaryen dynasty

>dany spends 8 seasons talking about the throne
>never actually sits on it

Yeah, since when have symbols held any power in the human brain?

Just like the vision in the warlock tower

You just don't get it

It signifies the end of the Targs and their rule.

Symbols of strength are important to ruling, fuckhead. Why do you think kings even wear crowns? Do you think they are comfortable?

Yeah, well, he's a fucking dragon. How deep do you think his thought process is?

>MOMMY GOT STABBED BY POINTY THING
>*sees pointy stabby chair, breaths on it, melting the thing*
>I AVENGED MOMMY
T.Drogon the intellectual dragon

Dragons are supposed to be a lot more intelligent than humans tho

Was Drogon a brainlet?

Yeah. They basically did this whole shebang just to come to the conclusion that they should choose a ruler instead of having them be born. That's the only thing that changed.

The Iron Throne has little to do with the selection process. Republic voting would just mean the voted sits on that throne.

Maybe dragons don't want vengeance?

In Dungeons & Dragons or something like that. In ASOIAF they're beasts. Very intelligent beasts, but still beasts.

Melting the throne is a symbol too. If you have a critical bone in your body you would understand it.

Imagine being a 100 IQ pleb like this one. What absolute bliss must would be.
