You were great Seasons 1-6, especially 6. Sorry Weiss and Benoiff aren't good enough writers to even handled the simple "Boy who would be King" trope.
Wyatt Phillips
Never seen this garbage show, but Jon Snow is a retarded name, and that actor looks like he should be in Seth Rogan's entourage
Ryder Evans
He didn't want to be King in the North. He didn't want to be Lord Commander. He didn't want to be resurrected. He didn't want to rule the world with Dany. What DOES he want?

Why did he betray her for muh duty and get her killed then? He did the same thing with Dany. Does Jon enjoy killing his lovers?
Asher Thompson
Yea. Jon didn't want the throne, but puts duty before personal desires because that's the kind of person he is. He spends the rest of his life unhappy, wishing he could be free, but the kingdom thrives under his rule. It's the heroic sacrifice, except arguably worse since he suffers for decades before he rests.
Camden Myers

By the way, the sole reason he wanted to join the Night Watch was to join Benjen, right? He thought he'd hunt, travel, with his uncle. Then, it became a chore for him to be in the NW, without the parts where he becomes friends with his group.
But... after coming back to life, he makes it clear (to Edd I think) that he's done his duty and he's free (even if he knows about the Night King). So, at that point, he really didn't wanted in the Night's Watch. And he was for a while happy to be in Winterfell, if not for becoming the king of the North, until he finds out about Dany & about dragon glass on Dragonstone.
He's pretty much punished for no reason, other than to appease Greyworm (which we know he'll die on Naath). There's still the Iron Islands & Dorne that might still hold some Targaryen remnant grudge but what are they gonna do.
It's fucked up. The wildlings too, they were given lands south of the wall to repopulate the North, YET they still want to return back beyond the wall.
The writing is bad & really stretched. OK, so, let's say that Jon wouldn't have been safe in the North with Sansa, now that she's a Petyr Baelish-Cersei Lannister hybrid. What about joining Arya on her voyage (or catch up with her to make sure she's still alive)? What about keeping an eye on Bran, since he wants to locate Drogon.
It's not even loose ends at this points, it's... really incomplete, regardless of the bad writing overall.
