Imagine ever referring to daenerys targaryen as "dany"
Imagine ever referring to daenerys targaryen as "dany"
That's what she's called in the books. It's always
>Dany thought
>Dany said
>etc.
I guess GRRM got tired of having to type out "Danaerys" over and over again.
daenerys is just a pain to spell.
>Dunk and Egg
THE WHORE
reminder that he uses ser instead of sir because it's easier to type with his style(using one finger)
id do it, im not scared
>tfw no hitler dany gf
Horsman's whore
Whorse
nobody knows how to spell daenerys and the people that say they do are lying
Dany DeVito
>ae is written as a diphthong but pronounced as a single vowel
Fuck that shit.
so this is why it’s taken so long to finish the fucking books?
I cringed hard when they called her Dany
>type with his style(using one finger)
He fucking WHAT
Or khaleesi
that's her name though
who called her it first in the books or show?
What's wrong with that?
grrm refers to her as dany in the books.
It would also make sense for anyone very close to her to call her that.
>pronounced as a single vowel
It sounds nothing like "Danerys". Maybe a little like "Denerys", but the way it's pronounced is definitely Daenerys.
The books have an omnipresent narration, which the show lacks.
Dany isn't even short for Daenerys since it's pronounced Duh-nair-eez
Pronunciation can change without spelling updating over time.
More like Dan-air-eez but you're right, it's only because the retarded way it's spelled
>Richard
>Dick
>Robert
>Bob
>Anthony
>Tony
I don't see the issue
The books are a pile of rancid shit.
kek
>ser
>sir
I felt no difference, how old is this fucking guy?
I always thought it was pronounced Die-nare-us in the books.
hmm nare, sounding like hare I mean.
Dan
Anthony comes from Antonius and crud, so that one makes a little more sense. Especially since there are langaues where equivalent of Anthony doesn't add the H, such as Italian.
Based efficient novelist, saving time wherever he can
>how old is this fucking guy?
He's well into his 70s. There's a reason book fans are legitimately concerned that he'll die before finishing the series.
No they don’t. It’s third person limited
the whore
She's my gf I can call her what I like
>omnipresent narration
Not really, it's 3rd person POV narration. The knowledge available to the "narrator" is limited to what the pov character is aware of. That's why the Sansa chapters in the first book all have the narrator describing Cersei and Joffrey as really sweet and polite.
sjw seething
Imagine watching game of reddit
I bet you watch capeshit too
jesus christ
how about we compromise and just call her Dana
I didn't realize being 70 made you well into your 70s.
I forget how to spell her proper name and it looks like so do you.
Imagine referring to the battle for winterfell as the battle of bastards
