Scripted shows will be shelved online. They'll get more viewers on demand and it's a less-expensive platform. But I'd expect budget and production values to drop. However, it's good for us because they can focus on very niche audiences.
Network TV will be sports, news, and reality shows like The Voice.

The NFL is scripted though. Every game, every outcome, usually a year or so in advance.
Theres a book called "The fix is in" that talks all about it.
Theres a very good reason the NFL is registered and listed as 'entertainment' (its literally on the back of every ticket) instead of actual sports, so if they ever do get caught with thier pants down, they're free from any legal consequences.
